I can BARELY drink liquids after my 3rd fill, is this normal???
You are definitely too tight. You don`t want to suffer unnecessarily. I should know. Please go for unfill.

Question for those who are doing intense exercise
Leigh, you`re doing so well, keeping to the cross training. I actually would have joined you but can`t locate the the site through the link to register. I hope that you keep the routine up because it could be that you`ve just retained Water. Is it not that time of the month? I really don`t think that you would have gained such a high level of muscles within two weeks. My advice will be that you keep up with the exercise but keep your calorie intake stable. Saying that I really don`t believe that eating up to 1400 calories a day should put weight on you, considering the amount of calories one has to consume to gain a lb. Don`t be too discouraged, hun. You will be alright if you keep up the good work.

Accountability thread for October Bandsters!
Weighed myself this morning and had lost 2lbs. I don`t know how I managed that since I thought I was going to stall. My eating has not been up to scratch for the past 4 days. I don`t seem to be keeping down much. I feel that I`m going to get the effect from next week since I always stall when I can`t eat properly. I went for another of my long country brisk-walk and jog this morning. I managed to do the 10 mile one, so I`m pretty proud of myself but my feet are very tired! I did not go for the fill today and will not do so for about a month to see how it goes. I`m actually considering a de-fill. Keep up the good work, everyone and welcome to the thread mom2girls. Feeling sexy is great and 12lbs. by October is achievevable. Good luck.

Way to go, Girl. You`re doing so much already. Thanks for the feedback. I do have the ocassional glass of wine (about once every two months or so) so that does not count! LOL but I have indulged in one or two puddings during this journey. Actually, sometimes that is all that I can keep down. Moreover, I believe in moderation since it was the deprivation approach ( YO-YO dieting) that got me into this predicament to start with.

Bragging Rights Time
Bragging is an understatement. You should be doing the happy dance as well. Well done, Girl. Congrats and thanks for being such an inspiration.

Exercise-wise, today was brilliant. I brisk-walked and jogged for about 7 miles. It took me a while and being rained on to complete the course but it felt good afterwards. I have not however, been able to eat at all today. Almost everything, including drinks that went in came back out again. Well, i will see what tomorrow brings but I think I`m going to suspend the fill scheduled for Friday. Hope you`re all well.

LeighaMason, well done for completing the first week. I`m definately going to register for the cross training programme because I know it will help me. With regards to the wine, how much do you drink a week. Will stopping not mean depriving yourself? snice this brings on it`s own issues. Will the 130 without be forever without? since going back to it when you`ve reached your goal might bring on something else. Should moderation be the way forward? Who knows? let`s know how you decide to proceed since I`m learning a great deal from all of you. With the fill, I get anxious when I can eat anything without getting stuck but I guess that is the right way to go.

Accountability thread for October Bandsters!
It`s been a busy day and I have not been able to exercise at all and I feel awful about that. Friday is approaching fast and I`m still torn between going for a little fill or not to. It`s difficult to make the decision now since my restriction is up and down and I don`t appear to be losing weight this week. I`m anxious that I`m gonig to gain this week. Well, I will see how I do tomorrow and Thursday. I don`t want to be too restricted but the anxiety is killing me. I will get some exercise in tomorrow. Oh, an important question, can anybody give me directions as to how to update our stats on the first post? I`ve lost the edit button and I`m semi IT illitrate so anything complicated goes over my head. If I don`t find a way around this, I will make sure I update it weekly on subsequent posts if that is alright. It`s great for us to be doing this together.

Welcome to the thread, Skinnygirl. You`re most welcome. We already have a November bandster in our mist already. From your ticker, it appears that you`ve lost 44lbs already so that`s good going. HDmama has already asked a few questions that if you answer, we may be able to provide support. Just wanted to welcome you to the thread, hun.

You appear to be doing very well, hun. Stalls are norms in this process. Wow! on your exercise regime. I`m envious of you, two 15 miles bike rides in a weekend is quite an achievement. Good for you. Keep up the good work.

TracyNYC, don`t be disheartened. The exercise should push up the weight loss a little. I read from your signature that you have 5.5cc in a 12cc band. That`s pretty low at this point of your journey. Is that intentional or have you experience some difficulties / complications? Hun, I know slow weight loss gets frustrating but it is not a race and we all lose weight in a different / unique pace. Let`s keep being accountable, share our experiences and encourage each other and we will all surely get to our goal eventually. Please stay focussed and keep with the programme. 45lbs loss averages 5lbs a month and is within the 1-2lbs guidance given for the band so you are not failing yourself. You just need to break the vicious cycle and look at your achievement, hun. Good luck.

Good luck with your studies towards the exam. Regarding the fill, my bariatric team`s advice is that I got a fill as soon as I feel I needed one. As you, I have to travel a long way for a fill and it costs a fortune too since I`m self-pay. Well, it needs to be done. I`ve currently got 8.5cc in a 10cc and fairly restricted but I stall all the time. I`ve therefore decided that exercise is the answer. I intend to reach my goal so whatever it takes. Not easy though but nobody said it would be easy.

Okiegirl79, 2lbs in a week is very good. Well done. I`m digging the exercise routine as well. Good going. I will jump through the hoops if I manage to lose 2lbs this week but I`m not counting on it. I had not have any restriction for 4 weeks and had booked for a fill on Friday. I`ve however been feeling restricted for the past two weeks and don`t think that I will bother with the fill. I did some aerobics and rowing yesterday and went for a walk today. I`ve also got to up my exercise a little. Let`s all keep up the good work.

So good for you to join us. Good luck with the diet and exercise. I tried to update the original post but I can no longer edit. I`m going to try and sort that out for our updates. Good luck with the training towards the 5K, hun. You and I are at similar weights now. I believe that when you get the exercise and diet going, you will be fine. You`ve been through a lot though and I`m glad that you have got some resolution now. I`m looking forward to your weekly progress reports. Good luck.
