Will there ever be a time that you will not pb and slime.Or is this just something that once you have the band, have to live with. when you hit your sweetspot in the fills will this stop ? Why would feel tighter somedays then others ? Is there swelling in the stomach because of the band ? Thanks for any advice Yasmina

I never think that I have picked expensive frames, but by the time I pay for lens , anti glare, scratch resistant coating, BOOM it's $400.00 bucks ! ( I always get the ones that come with the magnetic clip on sun glasses ) Yasmina

Mandi, Reitmans has regular sizes up to 15 as well as a section of plus sizes. I think theri stuff is a little roomier as I usually wear a 16 or 18 in some stores, but I can fit their 15 or W14 . Go figure. Congrats on the weight loss , that is so wonderful !!! Yasmina

After a fill why does it sometimes take days to feel the results. You would think it it was too tight, you would know right away ! Yasmina :paranoid

Hello Sunsreturn, I am in the same boat as you, I am going to Egypt six weeks after the surgery, so I quess I will have to wait until come back for a fill. I am from Thunder bay and must fly to Toronto for fills. Good thing I love Toronto ! Yasmina

Welcome Doriana, I will also be banded at the Prince Arthur medical Clinic, but not until Jan. you both must be soooo excited ! This site is great ! I have learned so much about what to expect from the surgery. Everyone is great in sharing their experiences. Wish you both all the best Yasmina

I was reading on another site that this woman was banded a year ago and only lost 7lb. How is this possible? Did the band fail, or was it her inability to use the band correctly ? Yasmina :Bunny

Good morning all, On the weekend I came across a site that will allow you so watch a lap band surgery on an actual person. For someone who is not banded yet, this was great. The only thing I was wondering was if all the doctors use stitches to help hold the band in place to help prevent slippage ? Yasmina :notagree

I feel the same way, I don't want people to know about it. I don't want to be judged or talked about. I just want to feel better about myself .For once I would like to walk into a store and take something off the rack in a regular size store and know that I could go up a size in their clothing if needed. Well I really want this, I start to feel scared when I read about all the different things that are just part of being banded as well as the things that can go wrong. Years of weight going up and down i have had enough. I want to know everything that anyone can tell me. It really helps me to hear how great everyone is doing. It is great to see the weight going down ! I wish my surgery was today, there would be no turning back ! Yasmina:)
