1. I think I PB"d for the first time yesterday and I haven't even had a fill. OK, so here's what happened, I had a meeting yesterday about a student that is stressing me out. I missed lunch and was STARVING after the meeting I went and bought some food. I ate really fast, got a golf ball feeling stuck in my throat, and was hiccuping like crazy. I went to the bathroom and with one little cough up came the slimey and yuck food! Has this happened to anyone else? If so, please tell your experience.
2. OK, if you have the surgery or have had it, why stop there? If there is something you don't like fix it! I sure as he@@ am! I want to have a few decades in my life as feeling like a million bux with confidence!
3. I have a question. Your message says that it has been over a year ago since you got your band and one fill. Why haven't you gotten anymore? Was there a problem?
4. OK experienced peeps.........did it take a few fills to actually get to where you were losing weight at a good pace?
5. FSC--Woman, I hope you are feeling better. It doesn't sound like it has, but don't let your spirits get down. This will soon be over and you will be one hot woman! lol take care. As so many people are, I am watching you too! I am interested in doing this and want to see the progress as it happens!
6. No kidding! When my hunger came back, it did so with a vengence! Ugh, hopefully, my first fill will do something for me. However, from what I hear I shouldn't count on it!
7. :help:for those of you that have had them? I have had a few times where things have gotten stuck, hiccup, and it burns a little. However, I worry that I have slipped. I hiccup/burp alot. Can anyone help me with the symptoms/signs? I don't have a fill yet and have been eating regular food for the past few weeks.
8. how is life at goal? What are the struggles? the pleasures? Anything that can help a newly banded person to keep the focus in sight would be appreciated! Way to go people at your goal!
9. I am eating just about whatever I want just in reduced portions. I don't have a problem with the fluids but with the salt content of things. Have my second nutrition meeting since surgery tomorrow, hopefully, will have some things straightened out! Fill in a week and a half.
10.
Manatee--I disagree with the short, nice, or overweight thing. My last bf that totally screwed me over was 320 pounds. He broke up with me and two months later I see him with a thinner and younger girl. ugh
Women tend to be much more "lean-ient" where the weight is concerned.
11. No change in self confidence?? I would think there would be! You look awesome!
12. Wow! You've lost thirty pounds! That is awesome! Here I am thinking , OK, 15 is good for not restriction! lol I know the hunger has hit in full force. I can't say that I have been the best with keeping it under control either. two weeks until fill for me!
13. The carbonation is the thing that is bad for the band right? Not the caffeine? I have had strbx and I know that it is full of empty calories but it will not affect the little bandy thing.??
14. I am so fighting eating! I am soooo hungry. It's like once I could eat regular food, it came on strong! HELP! Need tips to ward it off! Just plain hungry for real food.
15. Thank you!! Your abs/tummy looks fabulous! May I ask you, would you do it again? How has it changed you? Other than the obvious, that you look great!
16. Yes, I have had a few things feel like they get stuck. Or if I eat too fast it seems to make a weird feeling in my chest occur! However, since surg. I have lost 12 pounds. I am starting to swim again tomorrow! Yay!
17. Chick--Would you mind putting up your year after photos again? I see all of the two week after and month after photos but am more curious about the way after photos to know if all that pain is worth it. If you don't want to post it you can pm them to me. Does it hurt as much as it looks like it does?
18. Is there any warnings from you guys that have been here before?
19. Nil- I am a hypochodriac ,so, I would definitely call and ask!!
20. JC!! Yay! I am so excited for you. I know you must be feeling a big sense of relief now! Try to get a good nights rest!

I am so excited! For the first time in years, I can see myself at 130! I hope this is the first good sign. lol
22. Thinking of you JC!!Keeping fingers crossed!
23. Ok, so here I am getting old and all for all this dating mess. However, I have been doing some heavy duty thinking and am thinking that when I get to my goal weight, I am going to date and have some fun. I have always wanted a relationship and ,now, I am thinking that I am going to flaunt me around a little and find the one that I really want that wants me! This sounds so silly but for me, it's big! Want to be single a while, would never ever say that! But , now, when the time comes I want to enjoy the new "me!" So excited!
24. I bought some from Walgreens online. It comes in individual packs for about 30 bucks.
