Hi, just wondering if anyone has gained ny weight since there surgery, before an after there fills. I go Nov 3 for my first fill ive lost 23 lbs, but i seem to gain 2 or 3 lbs up down never more than that ! ive been banded since July 22nd,2006 im worried, and i really dont eat alot, i mean i do eat more since first banded, but not really alot. just wondering, any body out except me ?:faint:

coffee makes some people retain water. I know if i drink it everyday i will gain water weight, but thats just me.:think

Hi, Ive been at stand still for about 3weeks now, I was banded july 22nd,06 Im from Arkansas, was banded in Mexico. I Gain 3lbs then lost 3 lbs, up and down, I will be get my first fill Around the first of Nov, I hear people lose weight very quickly after a fill. so im really looking forward to it, but at the same time nervous. good luck ! My Dr, Is Dr Maese..My coorinador referred me to him. Im nervous, but anxious.So fluids for a week i can handle that I will have too! thanks for the reply:high5:

Ha, Im going to Dallas to get my Band filled in Nov, Does it hurt ? And, How long does it take, The nurse mentioned fluro, What is that ? also, will i have to drink my protien Drinks and can i still eat solid foods ? just wondering .

I drink alot of fluids.Idrink it really fast, And yeah you do feel really full quick, But i dont believe pou can stretch it or what not ! My favorite drink is Fat free chocolate milk.

:biggrin1: I use to be a 40D, NOW ! So far i am 38C. But not to purkie anymore, Trying some exercises, Hopefully it work's.:dance:

:hungry: I can eat almost anything as of now, except biscuits, and I really love them, last time i ate a Biscuit it didnt want to go down, and almost i panicked, Thank Goodness it went down, :clap2: . I have ate steak but have to be careful, white chicken, I have to be careful on, I now eat kfc chicken legs there great ! pork chops are pretty good, if cooked trender. and my all time favorite is a Frappachinno !! :biggrin1:

:grouphug: for breakfast i drink 2 cups of sugar free cappachinnos, For lunch i ate 1/2 sandwich, 6 chips, and for dinner i ate 2 hard chicken tacos, and sometimes for a snack at night i eat a cup of ed'y 1/2 the fat silk ice cream and i always drink my water 2 hrs later, does this sound like a lot ? im not sure what the calories are ? so far ive lost 23 lbs since july 22nd, 2006 :hungry:

Does anyone know when and where the first Lap-Band surgery was here in the u.s., was it 13 to 15 year's ago. is there a web site stating this. just wondering. if anyone knows could you let me know...Thank's...Virginia

No as of right now, I have had know luck, I may end up going back to Dr Jose, But, I really did not want to travel that far to get a fill, but if i have to i will, if you find one let me know, i would greatly appreciate it alot, the Dr's here dont want to because of liability. Good Luck

Ha I got my surgery done July 22nd,2006. And my port is two finger's width above my Navel. I can fill my port very easly. thats where my surgeon put mind. i havent got a fill yet, but, i cant find a Dr yet, looking. I live in Searcy Ar, So if you know a Dr let me know...Thanks ....Virginia:)

:phanvan Hi, Everyone, I'm Virginia, I got my Lap-Band done in July22nd,2006.It's time for me to get my band filled, I had my Surgery done by Dr, Jose Rodriquez in Pedras negras Mexico. so does anyone know of any Doctor's in Arkansas that would fill my Band, I found a Dr in Batesville Ar, But, they are not set up right to fill yet, im looking for A Dr in Searcy Ar, Conway Ar, Jacksonville Ar, Litttle Rock Ar, anywhere close. Il ooked online, and went to the GNC . I got me some Protein Shake, They didnt have zero carb isopur in stock gotta wait. Thanks for sharing that with me...Virginia

:omg: I Dont know about Biotin, But supposely Zinc is good for hair loss and skin, and B vitamin's. Ive joined the crowd with hair loss, make sure you drink and eat your protiens !!! at GNC they have powdered protien mixes that taste pretty good, i get 20 grams sometimes and 40 grams.this should help.......Virginia

Everything will be okay, Just take it slow and easy...Protien shakes are great ! and i like cambell's beef soup the kind you heat and sip, there great ! and helps when your craving protien. Good Luck !!!...Virginia:)
