  1. I hope everyone is doing well unlike me. I really need to get my life and utilize this tool more efficiently. I got down to 205 which my DR says he didn't see me getting under 200 but I was close now I'm up to 223 ugh! Everything was fine until depression and life events happened! Now it's time to start over! I have to retrain my mentality about food and exercise. I would love the support from you all!
  2. Mine said the same thing from Aetna and I called them and told them it wasn't right. I guess Aetna felt as though same difference which wasn't true because Aetna changed it but then said I would have to go home the same day. With bypass they let you stay for a few days. So make sure you call BCBS and your doctors office. Sent from my iPhone using VST

And I've had alcohol and gum I'm grown haven't swallowed it lol coffee makes me sick as a dog! Sent from my iPhone using VST

  11. You look great! I had surgery the same day and I'm down 45lbs as well. I don't know how you feel but I am really discouraged. I know this was a transitional surgery for me and my highest weight was323 now 218ish scale moves up and down but at over three months out I was hoping to see onederland soon.
  12. Great question however it's complicated lol my nut has never restricted my protein per sitting because she advised that a protein shake will or should take up to 30min to and hour to consume and because its being consumed in a slower rate the restriction per drink or bar or whatever is in fact being absorbed. Now everyone is different as well a bodybuilder can consume 100 grams in one shake less than an hour they consume over 300grams a day and Proteins that are not absorbed can be passed out the body or turned into Aminos in some cases. It's hard to turn the excess into fat thank heavens but paying attention to the calorie and fat in a shake is important we need Aminos and protein when working out.
  13. Not true about the consumption of protein per sitting. It's not tossed and it depends on your metabolism. And a protein shake is yes a liquid but its also a meal depending on the cal intake.
  14. Sorry y'all I can't seem to add anyone so the other group if is successful would work. Sorry I tried
  15. My hair is starting to come out! Ugh my doctor says it just happens and not to worry because its not permanent. Luckily I have a lot of hair.
  16. Thank you two for replying I know I need to just focus on my protein. I ordered my Unjury finally which is the only one I can tolerate.
  17. This might be a question that has already been addressed several times, but i am definitely asking again.... I was sleeved April 9th and according to my team i have been doing great with my weight loss. Well I am three months out and am only 43lbs down, I feel like I should be more down. I battle with how many calories I should be getting. I was doing 600 a day but I moved it up to 800, which I am now constantly hungry so I am going back down. I work out at the gym so I know i have a calorie deficit daily. Could it be that I am not meeting my Protein goal daily? I just need a lil guidance y'all.... Help?
  18. Stalled Nd not happy only down 35.5 pounds since April 9th. I only eat 600 cals a day if that..... Help!
  19. Tomorrow I advance to the fourth and final stage and I am afraid. I don't know what to expect with increasing my calories or what to eat. Sometimes it's just easier not to eat.
  20. I think it's the doctor. They are suppose to send everything in and get approved. Aetna wouldn't have contacted you the doctors office dropped the ball. So did the cAncel the surgery too? The doctor should have been on the phone with them working it out.
  21. Yes! My jeans are baggy as well! However I still have those that are tight or I can't get in to. I bought a size 12 my goal!
  22. Thanks everyone. I didn't notice my change until I did the side by side. I'm so excited can't wait to do the next 30!
