Lap band in Nov 2006 with Dr Julie Kim in Boston, MA.
30% erosion to band caused emergency removal in March 2010 with same surgeon.
2014 - Large Hiatal hernia and excessive back pain / fear of stroke - heart attack led me to seek out bypass.
Oct 2014, gastric bypass with Dr. Bipan Chand @ Loyola U in Maywood, IL. Technically considered a "revision" from lap band even though the band was already gone.
Surgeon office considers me at goal weight @ 160 pounds. My personal goal would be about 140 but I know this will likely only come with skin removal surgery.
