    Ok, I know there are a lot of Cigna haters out there and I thought I would end up being one of them....I thought wrong. My doctors office submitted on friday and not even seventy two hours later I am approved!!!!!!!! :biggrin:

  4. greek yogurt is a strained yogurt so it is much creamier and dense compared to regular. i find it almost in every super market in the dairy section. whole foods always has plain.
  5. hi there my date is oct 19..if everything goes smoothly..as to the shakes, the best i have tried is oh yeah shakes, they are sugar free and great source of protein. my dr's office suggested the web site bariatriceating.com and they have a sample basket you can order for about 60$..it came with all diff protein powders in diff flavors, some ready to drink shakes, vitamine samples, a great book with awesome recipies, and a shaker. check out the web site, let me know what you thing.
  6. i am not sure if i am doing this reply thing right...greek yougurt is great because of the Protein...try sugar free or low sugar jam in your favorite flavor....i like apricot or raspberry...or you can get sugar free honey at bariatriceating.com....let me know what works for you. I am getting banded on oct 19, if the insurance thing goes as planned. but i have been trying foods that i will need to eat post op. good luck:thumbup:
  7. my date is october 19, i have finished all the pre test...not fun..and i am waiting on approval from my insurance, my doctors office is going to submit on wednesday...that is making me freak a little. other than that i am totally excited, most people in my life are very supportive, all though some are giving me the crazy eye. like why dont you just try diet and exercise.....i say omg i never thought of that!!!! some people just dont get it and never will. i am excited i found someone with a close date to mine
  8. hi guys, i am going for my oreintation this wed. I am seeing dr. v , i do not know how to spell or say his last name his first name is siva. I have read great feed back about him, I have Cigna and I am wondering if anyone has been recently approved by them and what it intailed. Any info would be great. Erika :thumbup:
