Hello Fellow Texans! I am 8 days out from banding and down 26 total and 13 from surgery! How do I join the Bandsters group?

Hey Kelli, Did you proceed with getting banded?

I was banded on 8/18 and would love to chat. my yahoo is jdelizzio.

Was banded Tuesday. Would love to chat with fellow DFW Banders. I had my first visit with Dr. Kim on 7/6 weighed in at 255, On surgery day I was 242. I am now 229.5. I am super excited for the weight to melt off. I have yahoo and would love to converse. My ID is jdelizzio. Just put Lapband in the note when you add me.

Any idea when the next support group meeting is for Dr. Kim?

My Dr. had me on Optifast. Was OK the first 2 weeks..then it started to taste like milk that was spoiling. Had a hard time getting through 5 a day for the last few days. I think I drank 2 the day before surgery. Was challenging to say the least.

Dr. Kin uses internal dissolving stitches and glue externally. Seems to be healing well for me.
