    I was approved in October 2010 by BCBS of Illinois. I had my surgery on November 19, 2010. Hope all goes well with your appeal! Kelli

    My plan was 2 days Clear Liquids, day 3-7 full liquids and started mushies on day 8. Still on them but hope to move to soft foods at my follow-up appointment on Tuesday. My surgery was 11/19 so I am a little over two weeks out. Kelli

    Hi all! I am new to the forum and am currently working on all the requirements to get my insurance to approve my LAP-BAND®® surgery. The doctor's office told me to plan for September as I have a 3 month weight loss program requirement per my insurance. I am very anxious to get started and look forward to learning from all of you! I am working with TLC Edge in Grapevine, Texas if anyone has feedback to share.
