I dont see how the guidelines could shut a hospital down ? I think if a doc does not want to perform an abortion he should not have to . HOWEVER, he should provide information to a woman to a doctor who WILL and provide information to the woman on where she could go get one or what her other options are. I use to work for a doctor who did not believe in abortion and left it up to ME a CA to provide information to a woman on abortion . how assanine is that ? What if i was not giving her accurate information ? All i could do was give her info on where to go . But i was not a trained Nurse . It was irresponsible of him to leave that info to me . He had NO IDEA what i was giving her. I always gave her info of a doc that WOULD provide that info to her. Mindy

She better hope she's got her shit together now , She's got the WHOLE WORLD's eye on her now . The hospital CAN deny releasing the babies to her if they do not think they will be in fit home. Just as if you do not have a car seat for your baby they cant tell you " SORRY cant take them until you have a car seat " So if she does not havea fit home the hospital can say " SORRY they cant leave with you UNTIL you have a fit home" I STILL Think she's made a deal somewhere. I think people do not want to go through what they think woudl be percieved as shame to have the baby then give it up . Abortion can be a secret, No one ever has to know . So no one has to know your "Mistake" no one has to "Judge" you if they dont know . Its easy for people to judge you if your pregnant. Everyone thinks and acts as if abortion is the"easy" way out and its not . I dont think any option is easy . Mindy

I think that's the wrong assumption to make . Maybe THAT clinic. But the one i went to , we had to go through counseling and go over all our options . Then come back another day to schedule our procedure after we had time to think about it and they had counselors there to talk about the options if we needed it . They had pamphlets, numbers ect of adoptions agencies , ect . So , I do not think that its fair to say they were not offered choices. You do not know that . Mindy

Also one of the best ways to "SEE" Your progress is pictures. take pictures often. I did not see my progress until i looked at pictures. To this day If i buy something I go home take a picture of me in it and see if i like what i see. That's why i have some many progress pics !! ! So take pics ! If you start feeling like " I have not made any prgoress compare yourself to the before and the nows , you will change your mind ! Mindy

I was a 22/24 when i started this process. Even though in high school i was a size 2/4 I could never even imagine being that size again . I am now a size 4 but go back and forth between a 4 and a 6. I can tell you this . I do not see myself as Small though. I See myself as SmallER but not small. I no longer just recently see myself as fat . I still do not like what i see in the mirror. Most of that has to do with the hanging skin i have. But I do not feel like a fat person anymore. I can tell you this . Do not sell yourself short. If you want to be a size 4 or 140 pds and it takes you 2 yrs to get there then it takes you 2 yrs to get there. My OB Told me when i started this to expect to lose only that!. So expect to lose and your goal will come . You can do it . Will there be frustration along the way ? Sure. but its part of the process and the end results is AWESOME . The rewards far out weight the frustrations . One of THE BEST days I have had recently: Going over to my parnets house and my sister cleaning out her closet and giving me her clothes she no longer wanted. Big deal right? My sister is 17 and a size 4 !!!!! Hang in there its ALL WORTH IT In the end !! LOve Mindy
