I don't have a date yet I have a few more things before my doc will schedule a date but it's coming soon. Congrats on your surgery I hope you get great answers to all the things you wonder.

I wonder What it will be like to not have to shop in 2 or 3 stores. What my kids will think. What our friends will think when I'm not the FAT one anymore How I'll feel the first time some body takes a 2nd look at me (because even if I'm not looking it's nice to be looked at) How it will feel to see old friends after a long time What my extended family will say How things will change or even get better I wonder if I'm gonna love it...... I think so

Never Again will I dread seeing the cover of NORBIT and wondering ..... Do I look like that??

Cap Blue Cross of PA I did have to call my PCP's office today and make his staff understand I already did the med clearence physical and that he just needed to sign it and send it back no need to lose time there as soon as my surgeon has that back they'll make an appt w/ the nutritionist... so I'm gonna hurry up and wait for that, after that it'll be an upper GI and a date I believe.

Good for you... I feel the same way I didn't want to be annoying and I figured now just becuase it's now important to me doesn't make it anyone elses emergency Good luck

Ok so now I have to wait some more for my doc to do my medical clearance and then to get a appt with the nutritionist and then I can get a date ...... this waiting process seems endless I'm glad I've dedicated myself to this because if not this waiting could be a real turn off

scream out loud ......it will be ok, these things take time i was waiting for my insurance approval and now i have it and still have 3 or 4 more steps to do before I can get a date Lets just get it done

Good Luck find a good book to read something to occupy your time.

I haven't had surgery yet but it sounds like your a lil obsessive slow down it will be ok and try your best to go by the rules if you have to break one at least follow the rules that apply to that eat slow make it count it will be ok

Thanks I was looking for WLS, and I've been trying those I'm not big on soda, bread is the killer I'm trying to back off and increasing the work outs I kinda of heard (from ins co) that I've been approved but haven't heard from the dr.s office yet I think once I have a date I'll be mucho excited. I know I can spend hours on this site as well.

I actually heard from the insurance co today and so I guess I'll hear from the office soon I haven't called them because I found out late in the afternoon

I am approved as of today I'm so excited and scared and happy all at once

Hey I'm waiting for approval too too from blue cross this is week 3 as of today and I am itchy lets keep in touch I would like to be done around that same time.

careful think of other things you eat that may make you feel that way - could be too much of something in the drinks your having a reaction too like soy or wheat grass or any thing else that in there

That sucks - but keep positive maybe something better is going to come from this

Any ideas on what to do to pass the time until I get an approval my docs won't go to testing and physch evals until after then.

Ok so I've posted threads I've posted pictures I've done all the required reading and made my decision I picked a surgeon and now all I want is an approval - my doctors office says don't call us we'll call you and my insurance co says they don't have anything yet so I whine that I'm tired of waiting but I really haven't waited that long.:cool2:
