  1. My sister has been advised that she needs to have a weight loss surgery done, because the weight is adding to the liver shutdown. But her insurance says there is an exclusion that they will not pay for the surgery. To me this does not seem right that they would pay for a liver transplant but not something that could prevent it. Can anyone give some advice here. Thank you.
  2. Hi all I am right at 5 weeks post op and 1 week and 1 day since first fill. Doc only did 1/2 cc fill cause i was just 4 weeks post op. My problem is that i have lost only 14lbs. since surgery. I am 5'9 and weighed in at 260lbs day of surgery, now 5 weeks post op i am at 246lbs. When i got the 1/2 fill last week never felt any type of restriction and at times i get real hungry. I am drinking my water like i am suppose to between meals. What am i doing wrong. Help. also is there protein pills out there that u can take, me and the protein powders and shakes are not getting along. Also my energy level is almost not even there.
  3. hi i had surgery on wednesday august the 5th today is saturday and i get to have full liquids. i can not tolerate yoguart so i am mainly just eating jello, pudding, protein powder an myoplex shakes. i guess i am just afraid of failure. i have 19 more days of the full liquid and i am afraid that i will get bored with this stuff and screw up. help
