I don't know if insurance will cover it, I was a self pay on Lap band and also the lift and up coming implants. check with your insurance company and let the rest of us know the answer.. Good Luck

I had my lift done today, and all went well pain is at a very low level and a small bit of dicomfort is all .. now time to heal so I can move forward with the implants..

I have my date May 18 for the lift and June 8th for the silicone implants( silicone is as safe as saline)the skin on my brest is so thin that with the saline the ripples would be visiable and silicone does not ripple plus it is a more natural look ( I'm almost 50 ) and natural is what I want. I'm not wanting to look like a 25 years old just want the old girls to look like they are alive and well not sleeping on the job. hahaha!! I will try and keep you all posted and I will take pictures (clothed ofcourse ) wish me luck...

I am going to see the surgeon on Tuesday and I am excited, I only want to fill up these tube socks that I have now.:eek:

I never started liquids until after the fill. but I would eat light before maybe. hope this was alittle bit of help.:thumbup:

I guess I am just so tight and need to get an unfill in the near future.( another 15 Lbs or so ) I didn't know that the band could get tighter with time.:scared2:

Hi I was banded July 31 in Plano, Tx I have 6cc's in a 10 cc band, I am currently down 104 Lbs and feeling better then I have in 30 years.:thumbup:

Is it possible for the band to get tighter over time ? I had my last fill in Oct.09 and I have been feeling tighter then ever, is this possible ? Any help would be great. Thanks :sad:

I was banded on July 31, 2009 started at 258 lbs and as of this morning I am at 167 lbs. from a size 24W to a 12 reg. yes it is very exciting but I always buy me something new because I feel that I deserve a gift for all my hard work, the band is a tool for me and it works if you work it. but give yourself a gift even if it new panties something SMALL always makes me feel that I look good and feel good reward yourself.......:scared2:

when I made it under 200lbs I did a silent HAPPY DANCE and then went a bought myself a new outfit...lol Congrats keep up the good work.. :scared2:

yes right after surgery I could only sleep on my back but within a few days I was able to sleep on my side holding a small pillow agianst my port site. But I think this is normal. It will get better as time goes by.

I have a pair of the skechers and I love them... hope Santa brings you a pair .... and the journey in an awsome one ....

I agee with 2fly this is a site where we support each other and those who come on here to show off shame on them those who come on here to show off what the lapband tool has help them do GOOD FOR THEM. and keep up the good work .

I think we have all been in your place but this is only a tool only we can make it work or let it fail... good job you did the right thing.
