Hey , i was banded Thursday Feb 25th and went back to work Tuesday March 2nd with no problem (work at a Bank) !!! But my Surgery went very smooth , everybody is different so i would just wait and see hoe u feel ... Good Luck

Good Morning My Peeps :w00t: How is everyone doing after Surgery , for myself i can say im doing good , went back to work after 4 days recovery so everything went pretty smooth for me thank god ! But now im starting to feel Hungry and i wont get my first fill till March 25 th :sad: Would like to hear from you all :smile2:

I felt the same way , i thought that was the hardest thing , what kept me going was picturing myself how i would look in Summer... "food never taste as good as Thin feels " It does get a little easyer after 1 week because you will be getting kinda used to it ..... i was banded Feb 25th and lost 18lbs in 2 weeks Pre Op wish you Luck ...YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!!!!!

Me too i weigh 4 lbs more than before surgery , its frustrating but guess normal i am trying NOT to weigh myself again for the next few days :cursing:

Hello my Peeps was banded yesterday , feel a little sore but other than that fine , besides the gas went in to my right side of the face (dont ask how the heck that happend ), when u touch certain spots it feels like rice crispie treats LOL , and i had a hernia repair ...so glad its done and over with Cant get these tricker to work i am 5'9 Highest W : 268 Pre OP : 250 LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN YEHAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW:thumbup::eek:

On liquids since last thursday ...few more days to go lost about 14 lbs already ..takes everything out of me not to cheat lol ..but looking at the scale is way worth it :-) Cant wait to get the surgery done and over with though .... @ Laura , im glad you feeling ok after Surgery ...i have mine Feb 25th excited but very nervous too

Hi everyone , my date is Feb 25th , started pre op diet today ughhhh , just protein shakes and raw or steamed veggies , hoping i get used to it after a coupls of days :scared2:

Hey, Tricare called me today i am approved to see a surgeon at Scott& White in Temple to be evaluated ... on the 9th i got the bariatic seminar in Killeen and the Phsych evaluation ...from what i understood after all thats done the surgeon submits the paperwork to Tricare again to get the final approval for the surgery...but hey im one step closer :sad: Let me know how your Surgery went

Hi Danielle, glad you got your date...we are in ft hood as well i went to my pcm 2 weeks ago ,she put in a referal to see the surgeons at darnell ...well yesterday i got a call saying they wont take no more "new" lapband patients :smile: i was bummed about that .... they submitted it to tricare now i gotta wait to hear from them to see if i get approved or not , i am 5'8 264 lbs with hypertension and high triclycerides take meds for both im hoping to get approved i wanna get that done soooooooooooooo bad
