  1. Hello Julyers - I was banded on July 17th with a weight of 254lbs - for the first time in my adult life I am under 200lbs and something has changed in me - I need eat a lot better been eating not so good stuff and depending on workouts to loose any sugestions? I apologize that I am not on line much I am working on my Masters degree and take online classes and work more than full time. I just don't have time. I am taking a two week break from college and then back to school. Thanks ahead of time for any eating sugestions or input from fellow Julyers... Andii
  2. I am sort of in the middle - I had a bad back injury and I also had a hernia removed so, truth is my back caused me to realize that I could not loose this weight on my own and led me to the band. The hernia they found is what I tell some (especially men) but some people I just tell my whole story. I am not ashamed at all just shy - cause I have noticed that people that know I had the band look me over from head to toe. I guess I have to get used to that. Your choice who you tell and what you tell (the whole story or part)...
  3. I just had surgery on the 16th and I know my port is still meshing - I think it will be a good spot too - once it heals...
  4. Thank you all so much for your reply, I apologize for taking so long to reply back... Does port location have anything to do with it flipping - I will be working out a lot and in particular I am concerned with doing abs (when its time of course)...
  5. I was wondering if anyone has their port just below their breast bone in the center of their lower chest and upper abdominals? I saw a picture of someone elses port and it was toward the side of their middle abdominal area - kind of made me wonder why mine was where it was. Im not worried but just wondering. Thanks...:smile2:
  6. Hi - I was banded on 7-16, this is the first time I have ever done any kind of online talk stuff - but I know I need the support. I have lost aprox 16lbs, went to the gym today and was on the treadmill for 20min (I was elated) I am taking it easy. I am on the mush diet and feel better each day! I have no regrets...
