Ok I'm going to try not to think about how good that dinner that you fixed your hubby sounds to me right about now..lol.. My 17yr old daughter is a GREAT COOK, she makes this SAGE CHICKEN that's to die for mmmm, but last night she made Tacos and I thought I was going to just faint they smelled sooooo good...lol, but I didn't cheat. And I got over it quickly...lol. She is very supportive about this whole surgery thing. She even suggested that I go upstairs, so I wouldn't be around when she was cooking....lol.

I'm on the same liquid diet except I just need 4 shakes a day and I can have veggies. You can do it...Hang in there!!!

I'm having mine on Tuesday, Dec 5th too. I'm on my 2 week liquid diet now and it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Started it last Tuesday, Nov 21st. Already lost some weight, feeling really good about it. You just hang in there, you will do great...

My Surgery is also scheduled for Dec. 5th, I'm on my 2 week liquid diet now. Congrats on your date. We can do this!!!

Eeessshh, a bowel prep. I'm sure that will be fun...lol. Did that when I had my colonoscopy. I'm sure I'll be a mean crazy witch, while I'm on my 2 week liquid diet. Even my supervisor at work told me he won't be coming be my desk at that time....lol.

Now about that 2 week pre-op diet....OH MY!!! That's definitely going to be a challenge for me. I think I'm more nervous about that.

Hey tahoegirl, I'm having mine on Dec 5th too. I'm in Northern California, having it at Methodist in Sacramento. I'm a little nervous too, but I'm sure we will both be fine.

You could do what my surgeon told me about thanksgiving dinner. She said to just have it a week before your pre-op diet starts...Woohoo Problem Solved!!!!.....LOL
