  10. I am kinda disappointed. Two weeks ago I was told my insurance paid for either the band or the sleeve. So I read and researched and decided on the sleeve. Today I went to the Dr they said insurance "sometimes" payes for the sleeve but always payes for the band and gastric bypass. I just don't want the complications of the band, so keep your fingers crossed for my insurance coverage!!!
  11. In reading it seems like the sleeve is the second WLS for a lot of people. Have any started out with the sleeve as their first surgery?

  21. I am deciding on lap band surgery and want to understand the post op diet. Do you have to give up caffeine? And what is the diet like after you can eat solid foods-- is steak out all together?
  22. I have had weight issues my whole life and tired of trying diet after diet. I am 90% decided to have the lap band surgery but just curious if anyone regrets having had the surgery?
