  4. I'm starting over after having surgery to fix a slip. I just can't seem to find that sweet spot. I feel like I'm eating to much. I'm having a shake in the morning and mid morning. Maybe Salad and soup for lunch. Dinner tonight I had a bowl of stew little while later another shake. I had A late night 1/2cup cereal. I've been to full twice so I want to give it some time. I just had my fill Last week. Wanted to see how much everybody else was eating. Thank you and good luck with Your band.

  12. I'm having a hard time getting my band where I want it. My question is does 1cc or 1/2 a cc make that big of a difference? I've had a slip fixed and can't seem to get band right and my Dr. Even has one of those machines that shows how barium goes down. I have a 10cc band. My calculation 9 too much 8 not enough. Thanks in advance
  13. After you get out of the hospital you will need to drink protein shakes and soups with protein in it. You should take in 60 grams of protein a day. My Dr. Sells it. You can get on-line or health food store. Good luck!
  14. Everybody talks about their Ins maybe paying for this or that. I can't get Ins. Because I've had the lapband So I would love to know who you people have Ins. With. Mine is with Blue Cross but I have guaranteed Issue so It's high and nobody else will touch me because of the lapband.

  16. You start eating more then reflux. I thought at first I needed a fill so in the end the dr. Has you drink some barium and my dr. Has a machine that shows your band.
  17. You start eating a little more. You will have reflux. I'm sure you will be fine just get a little took out.
  18. Hi Everybody, I will know July 18. when I get my band fixed. I want to start clean. I would love to Have a mentor to talk to. I was banded in June 09 had great luck untill the slip. Have no ideal what caused it anyway if anybody would like to help me through this again I would appreciate it.
  19. Karen, Thank you so much for responding. Did they say anything about the new one could slip too? Have you had good luck with your new band? Are you still losing weight? They also removed my fill and it went back into place then slipped again. I'm a private pay so I'm praying when I get this one fixed it will not give me any trouble. Love to here more about your new band. Thank, Debbie
  20. Hi Bandsters, I had good luck with my band for almost three years. Then it slipped. I pray I am making the right decision. Has this happened to anybody else?
  21. I had good luck with my band. Lost about 80lbs. My 3rd year it has slipped. I'm in Knoxville, Tn. Dr. Boyce Did my surgery. I'm a private pay it will be cheaper to have band fixed than to do sleeve. I'm just concerned about what I hear after you get one fixed it is a lot more likely to slip. Has anybody had their Band fixed for the second time? How did you do?
  22. Thank you for your post. The sleeve is sounding better all the time the only bad thing my Ins. Won't pay for it.
  23. I was at my goal but now I've put on about 12lbs. So I know I can't do it a lone. Thanks for your reply
