Do you feel irritable, weak, and unable to concentrate at first?
1st off, everyone is different. I'm officially 3 weeks out and felt weak only the 1st week. By mid 2nd week I had no pain and had to pick up my toddler 17lbs (no way around it) but I was fine. Yesterday I went back to my Zumba classes and did fantastic! I think it's important that you keep hydrated and TRY eating your goal amount of Protein. Again, this is all relevant. Hope the best for you!! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

When were you cleared to exercise?
Update: So I'm 3 weeks tomorrow and I went to my Zumba class today. It was fantastic to get some real exercise ( was bored with just walking)! I modified along the way and boy was I thirsty. I usually drink 32 oz in the 1hour work out but this time I only got in 16oz. I was fine though. Hope you can get some exercise soon!:thumbup1: Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

When were you cleared to exercise?
At my 2 week Post-op appt my Dr. told me to start whenever I felt ready but to modify where needed. I feel ready so I'm starting tomorrow at 1 day short of 3 weeks. My exercise of choice is Zumba so I'm sure I'll have to modify. Good luck! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

Breakfast???
I think it's important to think outside the box for breakfast. In other words, eat foods you would eat for lunch for breakfast!!! Example: Soup chicken salad Egg Salad Refried Beans cheese Stick ETC... Good luck! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

Laying on stomach?
I was laying on my stomach 2.5 weeks out. I didn't have much pain by 1.5 weeks and this Friday I just found myself on my tummy! So I guess when you don't feel pain just try it out...your tummy won't burst open (that's what I was afraid of!! LOL) Good luck! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

I can't wait to hear that you've met your 1st goal! Remember, WE ARE GOING TO DO THIS!!! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

I'm SCARED to eat!!!
Do I just dive in?? And about how many ounces are "acceptable" at 2.5 weeks out. I think I'm not eating enough. I'm still at 2-3 oz at each meal (broth, yogurt, etc) because I'm afraid of puking! Thank you!! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue:

Shame!!! Shame on me!
I know everyone tells you with each day you'll feel better. I'm a logical person, I know it'll get better. AND IT HAS! So, today I went to drop off my son at camp and felt good among the other moms. I'm still morbidly obese, but I felt "thin." Know what I mean, that light feeling. Needless to say, the is shame has left the building! Lovingly, monica:001_tongue: Gosh I want some ribs!!! LOL:tongue_smilie:
