  1. I went to get my second fill today and my doctor was unable to locate the center of my port. I have to go back and get xrayed and filled. Have anybody had this problem?
  2. I was banded December 17, 2010 and today I got my first fill (4cc)! I have lost about 45lbs to date but my weight loss has been at a stand still for about two weeks. The fill wasn't as bad as I expected. Not much pain at all really. I guess I will see what the next month holds. 20lbs lost I hope!
  3. I have lost 45lbs in about three weeks. I am two weeks post surgery. I started eating food yesterday and I didnt lose any weight today. I think I will walk more after my first doctors visit next week. I hope I hadnt reached a plateau.
  4. Conrats on our surgery, I was banded 12/17/10 and I have lost 42 lbs already! It hasnt been so bad. 11 days post surgery with very minor pain at times.

  6. I was banded in Plano, TX on Dec 17, 2010 My weight before my week of liquid diet was 365 lbs. Today my weight was 324.2lbs. I am drinking protein shakes now an New Years eve I will be able to have blended food. It hasn't been that bad. I haven't done anything except follow diet and the weigh t just fell off.
  7. I was wondering being a veteran do the VA help pay for Lap Banding
  8. I have BCBS of Texas and I was told that morbid obesity is a exclusion in my policy. My question is: Is there a way around tis exclusion? I have tons on medical conditions.
