  2. I'm right there with you. Had my surgery Thursday. I don't think there is any way I could drink 6.5 cups of liquids. I just sip on tea, water and Popsicles. My body tells me what I can handle so I'm taking it slow.
  3. Hi Folks, Just had my surgery 2/9/12. The first day was bad. Between the gas that is trapped in my shoulder and chest and the dry heaves' not fun. It's better today. Just takes time. I've been sipping tea and water and had some Popsicles and jello. Tried some oatmeal this morning. I had a hernia so I'm guessing I'm still a bit swollen. I hate sitting around so it's nice to read how everyone else is doing .
