HI EVERYONE!!! well, it has been way too long!!!! 3 1/2 years since we were all banded. How is everyone???? I am good. Never got down to my goal weight, but sooooooooooo much better still than when I started. I have to get my head into this again and cut out the sweets, that is my downfall. Needed my tastebuds banded, haha!

What happened to you? Where you sick? How did they know your band slipped?

Wow, that would be a tough decision. I am not sure what I would do. For myself, I would probably have to put it down on paper with all the negatives and positives of each alternative option. And search deep down in my soul, as to what I think would happen, if I did nothing. I will keep you in my prayers. Tammy

Hi JayTee, wondering how you are since your cruise?????- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
WOW, you are doing great, down a 100 pounds!!! I have been having problems myself and on Tuesday went to doc and did the barium swollow and was definitely too tight. They took out 2 cc's and I have to go back in three weeks and have it rechecked. I had gotten where I was only have soft foods and liquids, and it was easier to snack on things I shouldn't. I had lost 68 pounds and over the past year put back on 9 pounds. Hoping this bit of unfill helps me greatly, and I can get back on track of healthy eating. Jaytee, how are you this week? Tammy- 2 yrs post op and wanting to get back on track
Hi, I am in about the same place. It was two years for me on April 16! I think about 9 months ago, I got to where I really liked the way I felt and was. Then Christmas came along, and I begin to bake and eat sweet goodies, and I think that started my issues. I gained back 10 pounds, and just cannot get myself in the right frame of mind. I cannot get myself back into the place I was before. I do not need a fill, I need mind motivation. Was thinking about asking for an appepite suppressant, wasn't sure if they would give me anything. Just something to jump start myself. Tammy Webb- 2 yrs post op and wanting to get back on track

Hi all, Gosh, it's been almost a year since I posted. My surgery was april 16,2009. I am still very pleased with my decision. I had lost about 70 pounds, but over the past 9 months, I have gained 10 pounds back. My own fault, have eaten I believe too many sweets. They seem to go down alot easier, and easy just to pop in mouth, versus preparing the food. I need to get back on track, but still a mind game, and I might ask for some appetite suppressants to get me going, not sure if they will do that or not. Just need some motivation again. Occasionally, if I do not chew my food long enough, I may experience the stuck feeling and have to throw up. If I slow down and chew well, I do not have any issues. Glad to see so many are doing well! It seems everyone loses differently, and our bodies except the bands differently! A wish of continued weight loss and maintenance to all! I was thinking that if I had some unfill, that I could at least enjoy eating a bit of chicken or beef, without throwing up. I lean towards the mushies, and I know we shouldn't do that. I haven't eaten any bread since I had the lapband last April. Hope you do well this week.- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
JayTee, how are you doing since you had some unfill? I actually called today to make appt for next week to have a bit of unfill, I cannot hardly eat anything without it coming back up.:tt1:- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
Band Groupie--What were the issues that you need to have your gallbladder out?- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
I also stalled or had very little loss in November and December. Middle of December, I had another fill and have now lost 10 pounds. Food intake is much less. And I have to remind myself to eat now, never get hungry.- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
My sister in law had a similar issue with keeping anything down and she was in hospital for 3-4 weeks. Finally, after many, many test, they diagnosed her being allergic to gluten. She had to totally change all the kind of foods that she eats, all has to be gluten free. You might see about this. I haven't posted since I first had my band, so I do get to the site about once a month and read all of ya'lls comments. Everyone is doing so well. I have lost 57 1/2 pounds myself. My band date was April 16th. I feel wonderful. And looking forward to losing my last 15 pounds.- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
Hi there. I was also banded on April 16th. Doing quite well on the shakes, jello and pudding, ready to go to some mushies!! I think I can on Friday the 1st. I finally do not have any more gas pains in shoulders or back, thank goodness, and I am able to comfortably sleep in bed, flat on my back, I did have to have bunches of pillows to prop me up. 7 days after surgery I had lost 5 pounds. I haven't weighed since then, going to this Thursday. I can feel the difference in my clothing and thought I would pay more attention to that than weighing!!- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
Hi, I tried it again, I have the ticker now, but had to lose the bunny bansters.- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
Hello. Had my lapband on Thursday morning. Pretty much laid in recliner all day, getting up to walk around and do breathing. Friday was a little rough--a little gas, but mostly pain around the port area. I did take pain medication throughout the day and evening. Today, saturday was better. I walked outside for about 30 minutes, and even did a little shopping to get out of the house. Looking forward to tomorrow even being better. I haven't weighed, I need to go some scales. I have only been able to get down about 2 protein shakes a day, along with water and tea. I have a question that I need help with. I did go to tickerfactory.com and downloaded with my information and thought it was all set up and saved my new signature. Now today, it is gone, like I never did it. Any advice? I see almost all of you with the weight scale going and I would like chart mine also. Thanks.- Bunny Bandsters - April '09, MASTER THREAD #1
