  1. OMG!!! You are telling my story...I am sick of tired of people asking me how much weight I have lost...I thought I was the only one...
  2. My husband and I were banded 2 weeks apart. I was banded on March 20 and he on April 3. It had been going really well. At first he was able to eat whatever he wanted and I was getting stuck all the time...until yesterday when he got his first fill...now he knows what I was going through.
  3. I had my first fill yesterday. It was weird. The doctor had a hard time finding the port...well he found the port but not the center, he kept hitting the edgse of it. I got 3 cc's in a 10 cc band. He almost didn't fill be at all because I some restriction with the 1.6 cc that were in at surgery.
  4. I thought I was the only one experiencing this. During the day, I can eat fine but when I eat in the evening,, not even late, i get stuck and the food come up.
  5. I was abnded on 3/20 and am doing ok. I am still on full liqueds so I can have pureed soup, yogurt, cream of wheat, and sugar free pudding. I start mushies on 4/24 and I can't wait!. My first fill is scheduled for 4/29
  6. My husband just bought me a Wii fit the day before yesterday. I am going to use it tonight for the first time. Can't wait!!!

  8. I wore Yoga pants, a T-Shirt and flip-flops. Comfy is the way to go!
  9. I cook for my 2 year old daughter and it doesn't bother me. I was banded on 3/20 and my husband was banded yesterday so after my surgery, my husband was on the pre-op diet and couldn't eat. cooking for my daughter actually helps be not want to eat. I make it as healthy as possible and it makes me happy watching her enjoy it!
  10. I just had lap band surgery on the 20th of March. I am just strating to feel a little bit better and on Friday my husband is going to have surgery for his lap band. I am so nervous:confused: for him! I don't know why. Things have gone smoothly for me. we have a 2 year old daughter and I don't want her to be scared that both mommy and daddy have boo-boo's on their belly...just wanted to vent a little. I know he will be fine. We are doing this so that we can live a healthier and better life for our little princess...
  11. Congrats! I wish I could have mushies...full liquids for me for 3 weeks... I am really enjoying the pureed soup and the sf pudding though! Enjoy your mashed sweet potatoes!!!!
