  1. I'm scheduled for December 11th. I know I'm late to the thread, but I'd like to keep up with everyone else. My doc has me on a liquid diet 7 days before surgery. YIPEE!! It's taken me 6+ months to get to this point - jumped thru all of the insurance hoops :w00t:. Looking forward to keeping in touch.

Jumped thru all of the insurances hoops and surgery is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2009. Dr. wants me on a liquid diet for 7 days prior to surgery - don't know what to expect - except hunger pains ! Worried because I've failed at every diet I've ever tried. Will this work? It is my last option! Any information or helpful hints are appreciated. Thanks. Michelle

  4. The doctor that I'm seeing charges a $375.00 fee for things like advertising, web-site maintenance, etc. I'm ok with it, but the fee you mentioned is extraordinary!!!
  5. I would love to hear from anyone that has this procedure done in the St. Louis area. I am looking for a recommendation for a physician that you like. I just found out that my insurance will cover the procedure as long as it is deemed medically necessary and not cosmetic. I am hoping that this is a solution to a life long problem. Also, just looking for your opinioins about the surgery.
