Hello ( from Ottawa, Canada)   I am going to Mexico ( Hospital Angeles in Tijuana) for lapband surgery in one week and I am getting really really nervous!   I am especially anxious about the fact that I am travelling alone and I am worried that I am going to be in a lot of pain on the trip home.  Its a flight back from San Diego to Ottawa.  I don't have any one willing to come with me because they all think I am crazy to have this operation and have been hoping I will change my mind.   Can anyone give me some idea of what kind of condition I will be in after surgery?  They have me flying to Tijuana on the 9th, Surgery on the morning of the 10th and flying home on the 11th.  I think thats a bit hasty myself and it wouldn't hurt to stay another day but that is the standard stay.  Any other time I have had anything done I have NOT been stoic with pain.
