  1. hi! Dang. When I was in the hospital, they gave me some really great creamy tomato soup and a vanilla pudding. I just assumed I could eat milk/creamed soups, pudding etc. I was banded on Monday. Should I not be doing that? M
  2. I had what I think is a highly successful banding - have NO pain now except a tiny bit where the portal incision is. I was overnight in hospital, flew back to Maui (surgery was in Oahu) day after and drove myself home via costco stop for soup!!! Feelng good enough today (friday) to work! So far, soo good, seems too easy! Yesterday managed to consume almost as much protein as I should be. "drinking" yogurts and soups some too. Don't even feel deprived - no hunger whatsoever. Good to here posts from other October bandsters! I can't wait til I can go swimming again after wounds all heal. For me, that is the hardest part! Hey! I can't figure out how to add a ticker to my profile/posts. How do you do that? Marion http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/3;10731;69;0;0/c/-4/t/-71/k/5cb5/weight.png oops! tried to post ticker... did it wrong???
  3. Thanks everyone for responding! I guess I should be able to consume enough in time, so not worried anymore. Heading to beach!!! (No, can't swim yet). I live in Hawaii, and not swimming for two weeks will kill me! Lost a few pounds already 3 days post op. wow. Marion
  4. I had surgery on Monday and am thrilled! I feel great. Tons of energy! But, I feel very bloated and full. I could only get down 2/3 of my bottle of isopure so I'm way behind on protein requirements. Is this normal in the beginning?
