  1. Finally, day 8 (1 week post op) I'm finally feeling almost 100% like myself! I was getting worried. I guess since I've started eating thicker liquids, like cream of mushroom and soups I am getting some more vitamins into my body. I hope I continue to improve every day, because I was starting to feel some regrets.
  2. Well for me, up to yesterday I felt that I probably regreted it. I was banded 2-18-09, and I think being on the liquid diet was what hit me the hardest. I was starving which has made me very weak. I am much better today, and am more excited about the decision I made. I know however, it will take a few months for me to get adjusted and hope that those days get here soon.
  3. Well, I was banded 2-18-09, and I am still hungry. I can start eating cream of mushroom soup, etc.. tomorrow, so I can't wait!!! I also have been battling hunger pains, but I haven't tried anything I shouldn't due to the fear of being in pain.
  4. Well I was banded on 2-18-09 and today is my first day back to work. I am sooo weak, that I can barely stand it. I'm sick of drinking protein shakes and liquids all day! I"m sure once I step up to thicker liquids in a few days, I'll feel better, but like you my brain just isn't functioning. I feel sick. I also had this sharp pain (which I also thought was the port) on my left side right below my ribs, but it is gone now, probably just air.
  5. Hello. I was banded on 2-18-09. To me this was the beginning of a new life. However, confusion over the procedure (even though I've already had it) still hasn't left my mind. Should I have done it? Are the possible side effects worth it? Probably a little too late for that since I am now BANDED. I know that as time passes I will feel stronger, but I am a little weak right now so I guess I'm just unsure at this time. However, HELLO to all and I hope this site will assist me with all my uneasiness and questions. Thank you to all who will read this.
  6. I also had my surgery Feb. 18th. I'm doing the liquids and I feel like I was also run over by a bus. However, I have this nagging sharp pain on the left side of my stomach, right below my rib. I am praying that will go away soon! I am very weak right now, no desire to do anything. I am hoping that as soon as I start incorporating some solids it'll raise my energy levels again.
  7. I am feeling the same. I had my surgery Feb 18th and I have a sharp pain right below my left rib that keeps nagging @ me. I'm also hungry, but I am drinking cranberry juice, chicken brother, sugar free jello, sugar free pops and lots of water. I just keep trying to get focused on the ultimate goal to get me through. I also hope to feel MUCH better soon, I start work again on Monday.
