  1. HELP.... I'm one week post op and am dreading the exercise part of the program. How do I motivate myself and when and where do I start? Any input would be appreciated. I don't have a treadmill and it is quiet icy outside now so walking for exercise is limited for the moment.
  2. I just came back from the my doctors visit and everything seems to be ok. I am getting more liquids down but it does take effort.
  3. that sounds amazing. I am assuming you have a lot of weight to lose in order for it to be coming off so fast.
  4. I appreciate your input and will follow up with my doctor.
  5. seems concentrated to me. I have an appointment with the doctor on Tuesday. Should I be calling before then?
  6. Hi, I was banded in Brooklyn, NY by Dr. Sherwinter and I'm thrilled to have a place to come for all those questions that pop up at odd times. Such as how will my skin react to weight loss--will I be left with lots of flab? Or how long will post-op swelling last? Its good to have others who have gone thru the same procedure to talk to.
  7. I was allowed decaf with only 1 oz. of skim milk. guess you should ask your dr.
  8. for the first two weeks I am to continue the protein shakes three times a day along with clear broth, crystal lite, water, tea or other clear liquids. they would like me to get about 8 cups of fluid in and I can't seem to do it.
  9. my date was Jan 12 and I hope you are as thrilled as I am to have done the surgery! Good luck with what comes next!
  10. I was banded this past Monday and besides the protein shakes--which I can get most of it down--I cannot seem to get more than three to four cups of fluid down. And this seems to take almost a whole day. Looking for any input or advise.
