  1. So ....the best way to start warming up is to either increase the pumping power of your heart through exercise OR .... walk walk walk which will icrease your metabilisim (is that how you spell it) so get the lard moving!!!

As far as i know and being a practical sort of bloke ,your body is like a machine it need fuel ,and you all used to get more than plenty of it,not you have cut down on the fuel intake so your body has gone into shutdown mode which means it narrows your blood vessels in your exremities so as to concentrate on keeping your vital organs fully charged ,so less blood running through means less heat

    so i'm abit confussed ,i was just reding on this site about a neti pot for post nasel drip and draining the nasel pasage as most of the dirt and bacteria we suck in is through the nose will cleansing out the bactsria in the nose cause unballance or is it just a girl parts thing??

My wife goes in 6 Feb 09 ,and i would love to know from a husbands perspective on what to expect as i really want to understand what the cook is going to deal with ???. So lets support the supporters (we all need love and hugs)

Thanks Pete We already eat fresh and healthy and the same so the portion size is all that will differ (i do drink more beer than her) i support her 100%,she's a good girl ,just that guys see things differently from gal's and i was wondering if there are things (from a guys perspective) to watch for:mellow:
  6. Hi Folks I am new to this site and very exited for all the informatin available on this wonderful site,i go in on the 6 Feb in Brugge Belgium with Dr Dillemens,so it's not to far away . Anyway is there any advice you knowledgable folks can give me on diet preporation at the moment i am cutting down on my food intake and drinking protien drinks also lots of soup with protien bars,has anyone got advise on what i should be doing 3week,two weeks and one week out. thank guys Bandicote:laugh:

    A year ago my wife and i ,well before thinking of a band were training and my wife was being trained be miss australasia and she put her on a protein drink which she said tasted the best (and she should know) it was Dymatise ISO 100 and it works fine ,you can get a good price on the net

    Getting the ball rolling - Newbie!

    Hi i know how you feel and am asking the same questions. I am being banded on the 6th Feb. Also have the most wonderful supportive husband. Scared and excited about this journey. This is like a brand new life and a learning focus. I am doing this to take the weight off my hips and knees as I do not want my husband to look after me in my old age with a hip joint operation. I want to run up hills and do crazy things like bungee jump. Love to talk to you more as I am exactly at the stage of my journey as you are. I am very grafteful for the advice from this website and the members. it has answered so many of my questions. Blessings to you

    How it really is

    Hi Debbie, thank you for writing such a sincere blog. We have the same story, ex husband do not even like the sound I made when I ate...never mind when I snored.......New Husband married me at my heaviest have the wedding pics to prove it..groan. However we are going to renew our vows in a years time. I am being banded on 6th Feb. New Husband married 5 years now and greatest blessing. Good to know that there are men out there that see who WE are. Also help to heal us with this distorted image of ourselves. I pretended not to look behind me so long as the front looked good that was fine. Yes Good Luck to us All and many blessings to you for your story. Keep going......
