  1. I have been saying that for the last 2 weeks. I have been trying to figure out the last time I was at my current weight. It's been over 10 years.
  2. I could be doing better. I am under a lot of stress from big changes happening at work. I have plateaued for 2 weeks now. I just can't wait until the weekend. The whole ordeal at work will hopefully pass and I can get back on track.
  3. http://twitter.com/spiritdriven71 http://www.myspace.com/spiritdriven71 :mad2: I haven't updated my Myspace in very long time. I am gonna work on it this week though
  4. that's awesome... I just heard he got a job at a Gold's Gym. I am traveling down to N.C. in a month to visit. I have been wanting to chat with him. We belong to the same Car Club, different chapters though.
  5. this thread is so 2003. and only good for the post count whorage. Oh wait and another post added to my total.
  6. Yes, you are going through a wee bit of bandster hell. I hit it around the same time 4.5 weeks after surgery. My first fill helped me a little bit. But I know I need more. From I understand, on average, it takes about 4 adjustments to get into the sweet spot. MY biggest thing is try to keep my hunger at bay, and not gain weight until I get more fills.
  7. True Story, Wifey approved Post I am down ~60 and my wife loves the new me
  8. I am the same, need more self control. I had my first fill a week ago. I feel fuller, though it's not enough. I know I need at least another fill. I am surprised what I can eat. It's still much less than what I used to, but I am not having issues as other people have. I think it's that I really chew my food now. Which is a big NSV for me. I used to inhale my food before. Gregnlr thanks for the props! :thumbup:You are doing well with your own weight loss
  9. I am self conscious, to the point, that I need surgery. My stomach looks worse than WWI trench battlefield. When, I was 23 I had open surgery on my intestines. The way they closed me up and the subsequent weight gain over the years my stomach almost looks like a bell pepper. I am married. My wife does not mind it that much. But when I go to the Doc's and swimming, it bothers me a bit. I am looking forward to surgery to get rid of it. I hope next year this time to get it done.
  10. First fill was 04/27/09 2.5 cc in 10cc band
  11. I had my first fill yesterday. 2.5cc in my 10 cc band. I hope it helps with the starvation feelings I have had recently. I am on a pureed diet until the weekend.
  12. Well, I have given up on Hard Boiled eggs. I have only had 2 in the last week. I came close to PBing, and a little sliming. I can eat scrambled and omelets. I am not even gonna try fried eggs. I have my first fill Monday. As long as I can eat scrambled eggs with some cheese I will be happy.
  13. Two weeks. That's what I did. It's not just recovering from the actual surgery, butgetting used to the new diet. It takes some time to get adjusted too.
  14. I have been having some issues with hunger. I have not wanted to go back to Y. I am making a point to go tonight. I am surprised at how much I can eat. Though, it is still way less than I could Pre op. I am looking forward to my first fill next week.
  15. I gained 4/5 pounds also when I got home. it's being bloated from the liquids they pumped into me. Though I lost a total of 18 pounds my 1st 2 weeks
  16. There was no pre op liquid diet for me. Though, looking back I would have at least done it for a couple days before my surgery day. I found out they had only one patient with a fatty liver that they did not proceed with the WLS.
  17. Damn my boss. bringing donuts into the office this morning. LOL... Though, I am being a good boy.
  18. fixed it..... removed ?a=913 from your link problem solved http://images.kodakgallery.com/servlet/Images/photos2400/2/52/90/67/57/4/457679052206_0_BG.jpg
  19. I am doing much better today. It might have been just a tough day yesterday. I also have the Protein powder from EAS. I put a tablespoon of peanut butter, and half of banana with 1% milk gives me 37 grams of protein in the morning.
  20. OMG, I am in Bandster hell. I am frigging hungry. I over did it with eating today. I feel tightness. I haven' lost any wieght this past week. I know I got to chill. I just needed to vent.
  21. Is there an Sticky FAQ for this stuff. I think that would be greatly welcomed by the newbies :welldoneclap:
  22. I lost ~18 pounds my first 2 weeks. Banded on 3/17/09. This week, I have slowed down a lot.
  23. I had wendy's chili , which I pureed last night for dinner. it was pretty good I was surprised. The only guilty thing about it was the salt
  24. First day back at work. Banded on 3/17/09. I probably could have gone back earlier. Though, I wanted 2 weeks off.
  25. I can't stand the WLS bashing (maybe I am just being hypersensitive) It's really up to the person how they want it to work for them. Weight in is good,. lots of drama.
