  1. I see that this is an older post, however, I am still posting with the hope someone is still looking at this blog. I was banded in 2007. I lost 57 lbs., then plateaued. Then, in 2009, I began gaining. The blogger who posted the thing about eating ice cream, chocolate, peanut butter, etc., is dead on accurate. I am so tight I vomit a lot. It is almost impossible for me to tolerate any sort of meat no matter how much I chew. I can't afford to have the band loosened right now. I wish I had never gotten it. I lost most of my weight on the 2 week fast prior to surgery. It was not worth it for me.
  2. You have done GREAT!! I have not done that well, but am now back on track. I am hopeful to lose the amount I stated. I believe it can be done. I have to get up and moving and the rest will fall into place. Thanks for your post and the best to you in your journey!
  3. Wow! I was very discouraged until I read this post. Now, I have to figure out a plan and do it. I have not lost any weight in over 6 months. Thanks for giving me hope again!
  4. I am very disappointed with myself. I am contemplating having my band removed. I was banded in 2007, lost 57 pounds until last year, 2009, when I gained 30+ of my pounds back and cannot get them off. My adjustment is correct and I am having a lot of vomiting and tightness every time I eat anything. Does anyone have words of wisdom? I want this to work, since it took me a year and a half to get approved for the surgery. I want this weight off!!!!!!
  5. I need helpful suggestions and support. My surgery was last year and I am stuck at a weight loss of about 50 lbs. I need to lose another 80-90 lbs. I am very discouraged and having trouble getting motivated to try harder. I lost more weight BEFORE the surgery than I have after???? Why in the world did I go through all this if this is all there is? I have a bad knee which limits me somewhat on exercise other than walking and some strength training. I was laid off from my job in June and am struggling to find work. There is a lot on my plate, no pun intended. I need help!!!!! I need hope!!!!!!
