  2. I was bored when I was awake, but I was in and out. The hospital also had an internet terminal so I was on this site a lot too. But I think and ipod should suffice, or a magazine. Nothing too engaging
  3. Single 22 year old female who enjoys long walks on the beach... kidding! Seriously though,I just got banded on Thursday and a biddy would be a great help! I'm 22 and a senior Marketing major at Hampton University in Virginia. I have a lot of weight that I'm trying to lose and my support system is good but not not of them really know what I'm going through. So... If you wanna be my buddy PM me please...

  8. I start on my full liquids tomorrow, and it goes on for a month. I need some creative ideas to keep me from cheating... help

  10. Just to walk around to get the gas out and drink my liquid when I'm hungry. The walking is helpful but I think Im full... so its hard to get in all my liquids
  11. Ditto! I heard benefiber can help too. I cant get all my liquid in either though... I feel so full
  12. go to the official LapBand website or the Realize band website and attend one of the free seminars. Talking to the people really helped me make my decision.
  13. I use the Ramen noodle seasoning packets to flavor the broth, otherwise it makes me gag. Peppermint caffeine free tea is also a big help!
  14. I got banded 2 days ago and Im on Clear liquids still. The problem I'm facing though is trying to figure out whether I'm ungry or just gassy?! Im so confused and VERY uncomfortable, how can I tell the difference?
  15. Hey guys! Im from Delaware and was banded by Dr. Wynn in Newark. No fills yet though, just got mine yesterday.
  16. I joined the crew at 2:30 yesterday too, still in the hospital though, just making sure I can hold down liquids. Im not good with anesthesia either so Im a little nauseated. Congrats too the rest of you 18t bandsters too... I guess it makes us the cool kids!

  23. My surgeon requires a 48 hour clear liquid diet before surgery which I started today. I am officially STARVING! Aside from broth... any ideas?
