  1. Keep up the good work, I'm a newbie being banded on 6/25/09 and my first fill tomorrow and have limited experience. However, isn't this a bit of a journey where you kind of have to experiment or "tweak" the band to find the "sweet spot." Sounds like you have been working hard and have done some experimentation and held your own. Congratulations on your success and continued success and YOU control your mind...
  2. Lindsay The jury is still out. Give this some time to reap all of the benefits  Sure in the beginning this is going to be hard. Keep up the good work and focus on all the good things. Keep on trucking!
  3. Hi everyone and I apologize if someone has already addressed this. I was banded on 6/25 and I'm doing great and healing well. I've been taking in a lot of clear chicken broth some tomato soup broth and progressing to a little bit of scrambled eggs. Yesterday an old bout of gout :cursing: flaired up and I was wondering what caused it. I thought I've been eating very well for quite some time to include pre op. Where did this come from? Sodium in the broth? I wouldn't think it was anymore sodium than what I had been used to. Thanks and good luck to all
  4. Well the insurance finally went through and I'm up for Thurs. 6/25. I'm really looking forward to this
