Hi Woobeesmom, i was banded 2 1/2 weeks ago and i can eat anything and i am always thinking about food. I am starting to wonder if this is going to work for me. Maybe i am destined to be fat...... very sad

dont kill yourself John337, i was banded last week and I really struggled with the pre op diet. I did eat some food and i was just fine

i am kinda falling apart.... i get banded in 3 days and i am really having some bad panic attacks.. also i have had migraines and been sick from not food for 10 days before surgery. i have had to eat a few things just to get by, do you think i will be alright?

i too have to have my hernia fixed at the same time. what is recovery on that surgery, is it worse than the LB? thanks for you help

congrats to you.. can i ask why you took an entire month off work. It makes me nervous because i have surgery next week and i am only scheduled for 4 days off

Cleos Mom, i don't understand, you say last week you weighed 18 but you hae lost 70 lbs, doesn't make sense? if you were a self pay this is very discouraging to me..... i am due to have surgery in April but than i read this.

i too am 5'4" 210 pounds, hoping to lose 70 pounds. Self pay, wow lots of money. do you think it will be worth it for us?
