  1. I dont understand... Ive been banded for one week. I called the surgeon to see if I could take my multi (which is huge horsepill type) and he said it was fine. I made the mistake of trying the chewable first.... I absolutely hated that. But now I take three diff. vitamins 3x daily, and no probs.
  2. i was banded 2/18. I find that days 1-3 I was miserable because my family decided to fry chicken, and bake sweet smelling goodies. I wasnt physically hungry, but the mind is a whole different story.I found that whenI actually ate... I could only eat less than a cup of anything. I felt that there wasnt enough time in the day to get 60g of protein, and64 grams of liquids. Isopure is good... but good luck finishing a 20 ounce drink. I drink cans of a protein drink called Zioc. Its 21 grams per 11ounces. I try and drink three a day.... But for me.... the hunger was definately mental.
  3. Hey everyone... I was banded Feb 18, 2009... Just checking to see how everyone is doing???
  4. Ive Been banded since 2-18-09... other than this constant craving for chocolate I have yet no reason to regret this. I read BigPoppas post, and cried. You need to thank the LORD for your will power and perseverance. You should be proud of how brave you are. God Bless you all... I hope all of our progress is blessing our lives one way or the other.
  5. Hello everyone... Im just beginning to take advantage of the site... can someone please tell me how to embedd the cute little ticker I made into my signature??? I cant seem to copy the right code...:tt2:
  6. Thank you guys so much. I am three days post op now... am I allowed choc. fudge sicles? I thought it was only the other fruity ones, which Im already sick of!!! Maybe Ill send someone out to get me some choc. ones today:-)
  7. Lol... Chew and spiit??? I never thought of that. I suppose I can wait for it to subside... but Im a consequential thinker, so I know if I hear at least one horror story, Ill be fine... lol
  8. I am 2 days post op. The night before surgery, I opened a thing of almonds covered in milk chocolate, and I think that is the last thing I ate. I AM CRAVING THOSE THING SOMETHING FIERCE :sneaky:!!!!!!!!!! I just want one. I need to hear horror stories of people who ate bad things their first week so that I dont make this mistake:thumbdown:
  9. I am two days post op as well... It could be the pain medication... I didnt need any meds today, so I didnt take them... but I was prescribed Percoset... and it made me drowsy within 30 minutes of taking it. I feel alot of chest pain though... especially after I eat something. :sneaky:
