  1. Where I'm thinking of going is 7500 US, in Canada it's easily 18-20,000.. obviously Mexico is cheaper - even with the exchange rate flights etc...
  2. What the heck does DH mean , i'm assuming husband/partner etc.
  3. When I told my mom I was going to get banded (in Mexico), she cried. I feel awful, but know this is what i want and need. Has anyone had this problem? Any advice??
  4. Well you weight 243, and I weigh 265 so that extra 20 lbs (as you know) makes all the difference. I'll admit the suit wasn't the best fit, but the experience is TOTALLY worth it. I did it, looked like a fool i'm sure, but once in the water it's amazing!!! Worth the time, effort, and embarrassment.
  5. Hey Ladies. I just got a Mens XL long at my local scuba shop - it was tight, but there was up to XXL in size. I weighed around 265lbs
  6. Does anyone know of a fill doc in Edmonton? How much are the fills in Calgary, if you get the surgery done in Mexico? This forum has been A LOT of help!
  7. Does anyone know what the wait time is like now in Edmonton?! I don't know if I want to wait a few years to get this done!!!!
  8. Does anyone know if you can scuba dive when you have a lap band?! I'm really interested in getting banded, but LOVE to scuba dive (even if it's embarrassing to be squeezed into a wet suit)
