Thanks all for replying!! I am thinking that I maybe mistaking hunger with gas pains!?! I haven't had a bowel movement since thrusday (1 day prior to surgery) and I have a killer stomach ache - going to call this morning. So maybe those "hunger pains" were really gas.??

Hi all - I was banded Friday am the 19th. So far so good, everyday seems to get better with how I feel. But I am hungry!?! Can I stretch the pouch with liquids bc I am hungry & I have been drinking a lot!! I am on full liquids. But I can drink a cup of broth in 5mins no problems & still be straving 30mins later:( Also do you know when this cling wrap stuff falls off? My port also seems like it's pulsing sometimes>? just wondering if it's all normal/safe? feeling loopy too from meds. But all in all I am so thrilled I have done this for myself & pray I keep feeling better & better. Any tips or suggestions would be super - thanks. I know I also have no restriction until first fill in a month. 12-19 surgery 205 12-21 - 196

I hate waiting!! I am waiting to find out if I am going to be approved through insurance. I had all the tests/eval, etc... I have a bad feeling no bc I am 5'3, 205 with a bmi of 35 but no real health problems except high cholestrol. Anyone btdt at my size or so? were you approved - wabt the surgery but can not afford. I sah with a 2yo. Any idea how long until I will find out? I have BCBS btw.

Hi I am new to this site & saw that your stats were the same as mine. Hope you don't mind me questioning you. I am 5/3 at 200. I have no real health issues & was wondering if I would be approved? did you have any health conditions? also what was recop time like? I have a 2yo & was wondering how & when I would be able to care for her. Thanks so much!! Faith

Hi everyone! I just went yesterday for consult. I have to go for psy. eval, blood work, & sleep test & then I have to wait & see if I am a candidate. Is this how you started? I am 5/3 @200lbs, my bmi is 35, anyone have same numbers as me & been approved? Dr. said I am low end. Also wondering what the recop. time is like? I have a 2yo & wondering how much helpo I would need with her - I am sahm. Any advice would be great!! Thanks so much!
