Hello, I have a question for you. I really like Dr. S. when you went to see him in his new office, did you have to pay for your fills (now that he is not part of the other office)?

Hi Ladies, So how is everyone doing? I was banded by Dr. Salimatari on Nov. 3 and I'm down about 22 pounds now. I'm excited.

We"ll do great, don't listen to any negative people and try to surround yourself with positive support. I love my band and am excited to lose weight. I'm down 22 in 2 months.

We should all get together one day for coffee and discuss. I think it would be really nice since we used the same doc. Also if you guys are interested I'm trying to start a local support group for lap band patients. I live in Burbank. Let's discuss. BTW! I get my first fill today with the doc. Laura

Hi Luluc, I have a quick question for you. I saw that your starting weight was 200. Was that your original starting weight, the reason for my question is that I only weight 190 and got the lapband this week. Athough I'm excited I'm nervious too, thinking that my weight didn't warrant the surgery. Did you feel the same way?

Hi Lisa, I'm Laura I live in Burbank and I'm 32 single no kids like you. I had my surgery Tuesday, so far so good. I just have abdomenal pain right now. It hurts to take a deep breath, but hopefully the pain will lessen. Overall I'm doing well I have walking an hour after the surgery. Laura
