Neenagh's Nutty Nattering
Also Green....if you aren't already....I HIGHLY recommend you take your measurements (once a month). That will also be a motivator...even if the numbers on the scale won't go down (or go down slowly) you will be amazed at the amount of inches you lose. I measure my chest, waist, hips, right thigh, right calf and right bicep ...once per month. I have lost a total of 26.75 inches so far. I also take photos on the day I do measurements. If you are going to do this measurement thing....start now while you are still at the beginning. If you are already doing it: yay you!

Wheezy Whispers-AKA September's Goals
ummmm Mandi...keep in mind that Green meant that the weight loss is brilliant (which it is!!!)....don't get lulled into thinking that she said that YOU were brilliant!!! Just wanted to clarify!!! (you know...so there were no misunderstandings or swelled heads!) Hyuck Hyuck.

Chronicles of Cloe!!!!!
Hey Cloe...my only advice about needing another fill is: if you are doing things "right" and you aren't losing 1-2 lbs per week (on average) then you may want to consider a fill. BUT, remember you can plateau for a couple/few weeks and then drop 4 or 5 lbs.....so don't get your fill too soon....as long as your losses average 1-2 lbs per week over a month you are likely okay.

I agree with Argon....definitely NOT a chick flik. Very funny movie.....Mr. Yoda also really liked it. (mind you Mr Yoda and Mr Argon may be slightly more Enlightened than most men....but I think Mr. Loriely can take it too!). (just give him a chip to nibble on in the movie and he'll be happy!) LOL

Thanks guys....*puts out turtle food to lure it further along* :hungry: Yoda's Yuk Yuk: Why do women rub their eyes when they get out of bed in the morning? .......because they don't have balls to scratch. Okay, here is one more for the road: Mikey Mouse stood before the judge waiting for the verdict. "Mickey Mouse, I cannot grant you a divorce since the court has found Minnie Mouse to be mentally competent", proclaimed the judge. "But, your Honour", says Mickey Mouse..."I didn't say Minnie Mouse was crazy. I said she was fucking Goofy!!!!!" :hurt

Wheezy Whispers-AKA September's Goals
Hey Wheezy...I was like that too...scale wouldn't move for a long time and then I'd drop....in fact, that is still the way it works for me. Grrrr. But I try and appreciate the little wins! Anyhoooo, below are two threads that explain my fill saga. The first one with the fill probs I had and the second one explains the "missing" 5ccs. hehe. Of course, since then I have had my fill under fluro (bringing me to 7ccs) and all is well in fill land now. Not sure yet if I'm at my "sweet spot" but I'm waiting to see first before I get another fill. I don't want to be too tight (looks at Argon!). :nervous http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=20359 http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=20621

Lila's Lounge
Yeah....I hear ya Green. I was waaaaay bitchy on the pre-op diet and not only bitchy but sad on the post-op. I'm okay now though. Mostly! LOL. As for my husband....yeah he was okay until surgery day too. But I think that is because immediately before I went in for it...we were saying goodbye and doing the hugs/kisses thing in the hall and I slipped something into his hand. It was a stone that said "Love" on it. He pretty much lost it at that point. That wasn't my intent of course; I just wanted to do one last nice thing for him ....just in case...ya know? So he would have a good memory. Later he told me that he didn't let go of that stone until he saw me again the next morning (I had to stay the night....during which he stayed at a hotel).

Wheezy Whispers-AKA September's Goals
Hey Wheezy....I have a 10cc band and my first fill was 5ccs (of course, unbeknownst to me - or them- at the time, none of it actually went in...but that is another story!). All that to say that at TLBC, they generally give you a first fill of 5ccs unless you tell them you are already feeling some restriction.

Query about eating and headache...
Yeah, I've heard of "boot" but Wheetsin, Canucks don't call it a boot. NOR do we call a car hood a bonnet. I never even HEARD that! The guy must be from the UK originally or something (or his family?). I thought a bonnet was the hat the Ingalls' girls wore!!! LOL. And, no we don't wear 'em here. Wellllll, maybe Argon wears one....but the rest of us Canucks don't!!! :biggrin1:

Leisurely Loriely
:clap2: :clap2: Yay......you deserved your own thread Loriely! Yeah, I get the hiccups sometimes during/after I eat. Not always and there seems no rhyme or reason to it. But when I get 'em, boy do I get 'em!!! LOL Very loud...very very very loud!!! LOL Thankfully it has only happened at home. If I'm honest with myself, I prob get them when I am eating a few bites too fast (or too much at once). It's good full sign to have though, if that is what it is for you! How is Mr. Loriely doing?
