I feel the exact same way. I do not get a fill until Jan. 6th. I am still keeping with the reduced portions, I just feel as though I could eat a lot more. I weight loss has also slowed way down so I am definitely ready for a fill.

Was banded on the 10th. Went back to work on the 13th and am doing really well. Granted I am sick and tired of creamy Soups but oh well....doctor's orders. I am super excited...I have lost 21 pounds total. Only 4 of those were lost the week before surgery. Good Luck to everyone! I ordered my protein powder from www.unjury.com. I read about it here on lapbandtalk.com. It is really not too bad. It is a lot smoother in texture than the stuff I bought from GNC. They even send you recipes with your order. Hope this helps.

I am so glad this thread was started. I have surgery tomorrow. I was about to start a thread for any last words of wisdom, but this covered it. Hope to be back online Tuesday. Unfortunately lovely Tricare is making me spend the night in the hospital. Good luck mljways!

I have Tricare Prime(South) and they require you to stay the night or they will not pay. So it sounds like I will be staying the night.

I had the choice of low carb or liquid diet. Of course, I chose low carb that way I could eat something but it sure isn't any fun. Yes, my husband is stationed at Sheppard AFB here in Wichita Falls. We moved here from Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX. I can't stand it here but at least we stayed in Texas (I guess...:rolleyes2:)

Hey there! The only way I found to update mine was to click on the ticker after I had replied to someone. That took me to the page where I entered my password and I was able to update it then. But then you have to copy and paste the whole thing again. I see that we are having surgery on the same day! Good Luck to you!

No prob. I created my ticker at tickerfactory.com. Once you get it created, copy the html code. Go back to edit your lapbandtalk profile. Select edit signature. Paste the html code into the area where you can type something. Then preview signature and it should work. Hope this works!

I just received notification that my surgery will also be on the 10th. I am super excited but also very nervous. I have been eyeing this little black dress but have not bought it yet. I just might go buy it now that I know I am on my way. Good Luck!!

I have Tricare Prime(South). I had to have a referral from my PCM and it was to a civilian psychologist. They would not refer me to someone on base. I did not have to pay anything out-of-pocket. My visit was a breeze. It really and truly was just a visit. I was not administered any type of test. He said that Tricare only wants to know 3 things: Have I ever been hospitalized for a psychological disorder? Have I ever seen by a psychologist on a regular basis? Have I ever been prescribed any type of psychological drug? We talked about my husband, our dog, and my family and that was it. Super easy. Hope yours is as easy as mine. Good Luck!

Yea!!!! Congratulations! You have got to be so excited. I mentioned that I would email you as soon as I got my date. Found out this morning that my doctor is out of the office today and tomorrow so I won't know until Wednesday. ggggggrrrrrrr!!!!
