  3. When I was on my pre-op diet i had a hard time too. So what I did was only eat something like boneless/skinless chicken once a day and I would bake it with cream of chicken soup the fat free one and it was really good and I still lost 20lbs before my surgery too! And I never told my doctor that I did cheat on my pre-op diet. But just make sure u stay on ur clear liquid diet 24 hr. before ur surgery cause they do ask what have u had in the last 24hr. Best of luck to u! yoco28

Well on May 8 it will be 4 months since I have been banded. I have had 2 fills the first on I got 3cc n it did not make any difference. I was still hungery. So I got my second fill, I got 2cc. And the first week it worked and the second week too! But now 4 weeks later im back to being hungery and able to eat anything! I dont let myself eat anything but it is getting harder and harder to control! As for my weight loss it has come to a STAND STILL! It has been like this for 2 weeks now! But I have lost a total of 41lbs. Cant complane about that. I just guess I thought that it would happen faster than this. I see my doc on Wed. Then I can get an appt. for my fill. I hope the third fill is the charm! Well best of luck to everyone! yoco28:tongue2:

  16. I got started by looking on the internet for a doctor near me. Also it depends if u r a self-pay or ur insurence will pay. My insurence paid but I had to go to all the support groups atleast 6 and testing and spicalest approvles too. But I have heard self-pay ppl dont have to go through all that. Some even get there surgery in a months time. As for my insurence I had to wait 6 months. But it the best thing that I have ever done for myself. Best of luck to u. I hope I helped u out a lil. yoco28

Did u have a pre-op diet? Cause that is where I lost some of my weight till I got my fills started. Everyone is different it just takes time to start losing. Ur body need time to adjust. It will all come together and u will be fine. The best support is the chat room on this site. They will answer all of ur questions. And as far as the issue with the going to the bathroom (bm) we all go through it. I still have issues with it. Call ur doc and see what u should take to help with it. I take maralax I got it in wallmart it is an over the counter med works in like a day or less. Best of luck to u! Yoco28
  22. Best of luck to u! Everything will be fine and loved ur story. I have read just about every post u have put up since I have came to this site. Let us know how ur doing! Yoco28
