Hi i have just got back from visiting family in England i had a adjustment 2 weeks before i went they took more out because of the flying making the band tighter i tried looking for dr's in my mums area the only ones i could find were in private hospitals whaich to use in England are expensive if you are having some fluid taken out of your band everything should be fine i was worried before i went but i followed everything my pa told me so good luck have a great trip

I was told not to eat anything before ,during or after the flight and that i was to just have liquids because the altitude could tighten the band i had my fill over a week ago they wanted to give time for the swelling to go down incase i needed some liquid taking out so i am really looking forward to coming home so i can have another fill as i am really nervous about gaining the weight as i don't have any restriction

I had my 1st fill just over a week ago now i seem to be more hungry they only put 1cc in this time so now i have the 2 cc total in a 10cc band they didn't want to put to much in as i will be flying next week and they didn't want the band to be too tight i am worried now as i was doing really well i had lost 36lb now i am worried incase i start gaining again while i am on my trip my next fill isn't until march 26 is there any advice any one can give me

Hi All Well i start my liquid diet tomorrow i am about to go shopping to get my supplies i just wanted to know how everyone else was doing on theirs i have 10 days of it go to:thumbup:then i get my surgery on the 29th and already i am so nervous i know it is going to be hard work and i am so ready for a new year and a new me. if anyone has any advice to help me get through the liquid stages i would really appreciate it i would also love to hear your stories and how you are all doing :ohmy: look forward to hear from you all and i hope you all have a great christmas and keep the good work going:thumbup:

Hi all Well i have everything approved and i now know my insurance is covering everything except the dietian:thumbs_down:but what can you do i am so happy that things are moving along and i have my date:thumbup: i am both excited and nervous my surgery will be on Dec 29th and i start my liquid diet on the 19th:laugh:i know it sounds funny but i am so looking for to starting it all i have appointment on friday with my dietian so i guess i will learn more there:confused:.Is there anyone else out there with the same date i would love to have a band buddy:smile2: if anyone out there is intrested good luck to all keep up the good work and lets all think of the end results:thumbup:

  9. thanks it really does help hearing from people who have already been through it i plan to shake it off and just go and be honest as that is the best policy
  10. i have my test next month and i am getting myself worked up i am so nervous as i am really ready to change my life i know the band is just a toll and i am not going to wake up one morning and lose the weight i know there is work to be done and i mean alot of work but i am positive 100% i am ready i just have to get through this test if there is anyone who can tell me more about what to expect i would appreciate it
