  1. Hel-looo... I'm that nerd that is carrying around a little lunch sack along with a metallic bottle for water. Yep, that's me.
  2. Interesting how wherever there's a problem, there you are.
  3. You can't un-do what was, so don't focus on that. Otherwise it gives you a negative focus on what is a WONDERFUL accomplishment! Be proud of yourself for doing this and persevering. Hell, I have to lose 150, and I'll be dancing in the clouds when that day comes.
  4. awesome!!!!!!!!
  5. I think it's FANTASTIC! For somebody who started out as big as he did, it's more than a second chance -- he had no ability to ever get to a reasonable weight in the time it took to shoot Loser. Besides that, considering that he lost most of that weight on his own since he was sent home so early, I'd say he's very dedicated and deserves to continue (I don't see it as a second chance, since second chances typically mean somebody messed up and gets a re-do).
  6. True, but remember it was the apple cart upsetters who created and built the America that once was.
  7. The Virgo in my family I had growing up -- my mom. Thanks, but no thanks. She was usually busy throwing rocks at the moon while screaming obscenities.
  8. Love dictionary.com too, though I don't have to check it often (thankfully). Awesome on the weight loss front! Omg, six more pounds and you've lost a Hollywood starlet!
  9. I bark. He's usually licking himself. Big no-no is right. Sometimes it's just... arrrrggghhh!!
  10. You got THAT right! I've kept my size 24's (and the subsequent sizes) just as a reminder.
  11. Hello! Another cancer here, married to a cancer.
  12. Help who, her or you? lol You can ask her to help you with your math.
  13. If there was a way for it to just be us, sure. I'd love to hear some sane, reasonable thoughts from somebody who actually LIVES with it, not just has an opinion. But we all know that that can't happen. Unless... how much clout do the mods have to make Fanny and I our own boxing ring where all the others could only be spectators?
  14. That is fan-freakin-tastic, Ebony!!! YOU GO, GIRL!!
  15. To throw up more and infect other kids. Some parents may not be able to miss work. Then there are those "parents" who are, at best, horrible babysitters to their own kids.
  16. Though I'd love to debate YOU about it, it would undoubtedly be invaded by someone who I am working hard to avoid in the debating areas since this person doesn't know how to debate. I've already left another thread (for the most part) for this very reason. Gets my blood pressure up too much.
  17. It USED to take 20 minutes for the food to register, but not anymore. When I start to feel tight, I stop. I don't then get tighter 20 minutes later. Nobody is saying to replace proper foods with salads, but to say that salads are bad for you is just plain wrong. And I don't know what you mean by the salads "straining" the band because your average, fluffy salad is masticated down to nearly nothing. It certainly won't strain anything like solid foods could. And if solids aren't straining the band, a salad sure as hell ain't gonna do it.
  18. Is this it? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  19. No kidding!! I actually missed it in my first read-through. Idiots...
  20. HEY! Yeah, okay...
  21. What we need are tort reforms, and other major tweaks to the existing system -- NOT to scrap it. Anyway, sorry y'all... didn't mean to get politics going in here. :blushing:
  22. Sounds like you dodged a mortar shell! :blushing:
  23. Yep. Didn't Hitler do that? :blushing: And TPG, just think -- the fact that this surgery didn't go through really saved you with Medicare! Had you had the surgery last week, you would have lost your coverage. See, things happen for a reason.
  24. Why is it they don't make women's jeans in half sizes? :blushing:
