  1. Diva: WW or any support is great to go along with the band if you need it. I tried them and OA, but decided to go to an eating disorder therapist. Have my second meeting with her on Thursday. Sketchers Shape Ups... weird. I went to a Sketchers store here in town and they don't even have them! Not that they're sold out, they simply don't have them. Weird.
  2. Hey, at least tell me it's better than Plain in a mini, stillettos and a blonde wig. :smile2:
  3. Ouch, butt still hurts. It actually hurt to get into bed last night! Good thing it's still so big and meaty... :smile2: And G4E, yes ColoradoChick laughed at me, but it was only to save face in front of her sister and husband. Her eyes said she really wanted to rub it -- as a good friend, of course -- but she held herself back. Oh well, her loss.
  4. The left has Michael Moore. Which is fine. We don't want him. :smile2:
  5. Then I feel sorry for his audience. I'm just sayin'...
  6. He does that sometimes. I hear he dons his long blonde wig, stillettos, and mini skirt, and trades his time between being Plain and Wendy Williams.
  7. Luckily I didn't hit it hard. Didn't even get a bump. But it was enough to make me go, "Holy cow, I forgot to put the dang thing on!" My left cheek definitely hurts. Luckily I fell on anything other than my tailbone. But yeah, my butt hurts. I was just at ColoradoChick's and told her I needed her to rub it.
  8. So... the scare tactic of "WE HAVE TO SIGN THIS THING NOW" is what, better? What's the left's hurry? Why are they playing Henny Penny on this thing? For no good reason, that's why. I'm sorry to be so crass, Kartman, but BULLSHIT. There is no way that ANYbody knows EVERYthing that's in 1400 pages of this shit sandwich. Look, ANY "bill" that has that many pages to it is usually full of so much shit that they don't WANT the average layperson to know what's in it. Laypeople should be able to know what it is that's being passed. Otherwise we simply have a case of elitist prigs who are speaking Latin to keep the masses in control. Oh wait, that was done once already. :smile2: I'm sorry, but any government that muddies the Water as much as ours does is up to no effin' good. They know it, and some of us smarter "laypeople" know it too. If you need a stable full of lawyers and a secret decoder ring to figure the damn thing out, it's nothing but a smokescreen to take away more of our liberties, pure and simple.
  9. I have an idea for you G4E: I'm having one of those what-the-hell-was-I-thinking moments. Just tried out my new rollerblades and fell three times before I made it all the way around our little park. The FIRST time I fell I realized I had put on all my gear except for my helmet because, yep, I fell backwards and smacked my head. I'm beginning to think 44 is too old to start something like this. lol
  10. I know, the singing was a bit over the top. But he certainly is NOT singing O's praises, that's for sure.
  11. Too bad you didn't have a bottle of water handy... just hand it to him and wave toodles. 'Course the thing is, you're not a bitch and I am.
  12. Just honk and wave as you drive by, darlin'.
  13. I remember when I did. Wait... Crap, memory is not what it used to be.
  14. This one's even better. This lady says what so many of us have been saying: Breaking News | Latest News | Current News - FOXNews.com
  15. I think video like this is WAY more indicative of how people feel than ANY bullcrap "poll" you can find out there:
  16. Omg, I was reading this -- muscles... shower... BED... and I'm wondering, WTH? What aisle do you find THOSE on? Then you went and burst my bubble.
  17. Starting to line up contractors. If any of them look like KC's guys, I'm just gonna start breaking sh*t around here. *note to self: go to Home Depot and buy a sledge hammer.
  18. Everything. And just to be clear for those who may think Obama walks on Water, I don't just blame THIS administration. This type of thing has been coming down the pike for a long time. It's just that NOW, I believe this administration believes they can pass any turd sandwich under our noses that they want to and we'll just take it.
  19. It's ironic that you bring up the "validity" of polls AND Bush/Kerry in the same post. If memory serves, nearly every poll out there had Kerry winning. Same with Gore. Polls are only as good as the organizations giving them, the crossection of the people they are polling, AND the honesty of those organizations' results. If you put more stock in polls than what people really SAY, well...
  20. The nice thing about drunk posting is that, for every one person who will eventually regret it, there are about a dozen of us who are SO thankful for them.:cool: On another note, GOOD LUCK, EBONY!!!!!
  21. Erm, it was HER that posted it!
  22. Cleosmom, obviously you put your stock in polls which can be skewed or outright lied about. I have talked to people and have seen where these things we're talking about don't work. So long as you believe what you hear and I believe what I see, we won't ever come to a meeting of the minds. Trust me, I'd LOVE to see life through rose-colored glasses. I simply choose to be faced with reality than some fluff I'd LIKE to believe.
