  1. I don't think I can take the thought of, "You want to stick it where, and then you want to stick it WHERE??" I'm still throwing up in my mouth a little over that one...
  2. Susan, I'm really glad to hear that you have gotten your head clear and will be doing right by yourself. I knew you could and would. :cursing:
  3. I am a fan of none. Can't stand sports (unless it's guys in leather g-strings and capes, of course, but none of y'all are brave enough to do that, lol), but I was a Texan for 27 years. If it came down between the Cowboys and the Redskins, I would probably root for the Cowboys. And I only say "probably" because did I mention I can't stand sports?
  4. Kinda like me and my 300 fantasies. After I wrote that the other day, I hadda watch it. And Plain... real men wear capes and leather diapers.
  5. And now you have a baby Violet! :cursing:
  6. BWWWWAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Let's hear it for the carnivores!
  7. You said it before I did. I'm surprised they let her live. :)
  8. Yeah, me too. I imagine Plain in the mirror, sucking in the gut and throwing out the chest, growling like a bear and admiring the results. I mean, there IS a new guy marking his territory around here, y'know.
  9. Yes, it is. Northern Virginia = NoVa.
  10. ROTFLMAO!! How did I know YOU would find this thread, huh? I have to fix this, though: Dear Penthouse, I never thought this would happen to me butt...
  11. Seems to be turning more into locker room conversation!
  12. Okay, WAAAAAAAAYYYY too much information.
  13. DON'T be disgusted! It's only four pounds. Call him, get a fill, and move forward. You can do it!
  14. That is some GOOD stuff! I can't believe I didn't gobble it up last night! I was a good girl... I was gonna ask about your souffle! Glad it turned out well. See you tonight at the meeting.
  15. We did it a week after my surgery. Was just fine. I just let him do all the work.
  16. In Leesburg here, so it might be a tad bit far. I'll keep this one in mind, though. Thanks!
  17. GREAT!! We'll have a little klatch before we know it! Omg, I think my office hates you... I smell of garlic from the tziki, but YUM, it shore was gooood!
  18. It's enough to make you change your eating habits, huh? :wink2:
  19. I'm sorry to hear it, Heather. One thing you might want to watch out for is the coffee. Though it initially dulls the hunger, it also increases it a little bit later.
  20. Wow. Just... wow. :wink2: I don't have anything to share... yet... but give it time.
  21. I don't swear to know anything, but I would think that didn't hurt anything. Just don't do it again, k?
  22. I'm sorry you're feeling this way, Susan. {{{hugs}}} First and foremost, don't beat yourself up. This can be brought back under control. Just stop... and breathe... and find a calm spot to reconnect with yourself. Nothing is ruined, just delayed. And we ALL are able to give the most fantastic, workable advice while not being able to adhere to it at all. With all I know and have shared, I can't believe I haven't been granted an honorary degree in... something. But you are probably like me that when you start to backslide, instead of reaching out, you freak out. I do that, and that is the one reason I'm afraid of sabotaging my weight loss too. I get to a certain point, realize I'm starting to look good, and totally freak out and do the exact opposite of what I should do. I too will likely deal with this very issue again in the future. But you know, you are STILL a fantastic inspiration and a success story because you DID it. You know how to work it, and you have -- you just need to get back on track again. What can we do for you? Just ask. I know I too am too new to really be of any good, but if there's anything... And call your doctor. But most of all, just stop and breathe. It'll be okay.
  23. Sorry, I didn't mean to infer "a" day, I only meant one day. It worked for me.
  24. I will actually go to my first Pinnar group on Monday. Maybe once I see what they talk about, it will be just what I'm looking for... I dunno. It is a tad bit far for me, but it was more that I wasn't sure if people also do an OA or therapist along with whatever else they have going on. Mine was more the thought of what if I want/need to see somebody or join a group more than once a month. And gratz on your surgery!!! Are you in and out the same day, or are you staying overnight? I was an overnighter.
  25. I LOVE the EAS Myoplex brand shakes. They come already done (though I THINK you can buy the powder form) in ready-to-drink containers. I prefer the chocolate ones, though they also have vanilla and strawberry. The Myoplex Carb Control are great, as they only have 4g of carbs with 17 Protein. If you go the regular route, they are 20g of protein and I think 17g carbs. I drink one every morning for Breakfast and it really does the trick. And to me, the taste is fantastic, not to mention the convenience -- chill, shake, and drink. They sell them at GNC, but don't get them there. They sell the 4-pack for over $10, but you can get the same thing at WalMart for about $4.97.
