  1. Problem is, Whacko is into prepubescent little boys. He may want to date some of her kids in a few years, but her? Nah, not his type.
  2. Frankly, I'm hoping CPS investigates and considers taking them away to give to people who can raise them. And a scary thought: What's to keep her from doing it AGAIN? Has ANYbody heard that 14 is enough? I haven't...
  3. Apparently, in her twisted little mind, if you NEED it, it's not welfare. Never mind the fact that she PUT herself in this situation through no fault of the taxpayers.
  4. I would be curious to know what the disabilities are. Made-up, perhaps, like the rest of her la-la-land fantasies?
  5. You CAN do them, but in moderation. Mine wasn't upset -- was actually supported -- but little by little his wants are starting to overrun my needs.
  6. Here's a link: FOXNews.com - Octuplets' Mom On Welfare, Spokesman Confirms - Pregnancy
  7. I'm getting refrains of the 70's song, "When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman (It's Hard)" running through my head... Yes, it's as if when we're fatties, we're safe. I am like Shamrock in that my husband met me about 145ish, though I didn't stay that weight very long in our relationship. I can only hope it'll be a good thing. The only real issue I'm going through is that he's being somewhat passive-aggressive about losing out on losing an eating buddy. He's not fat, but he's a HUGE foodie. It's like being with an alcoholic who is still drinking when you decide to stop. It's becoming a real issue for me, and I'm feeling passively attacked over all of this.
  8. Oh good lord... that's not WELFARE in her book?? What I loved is how she said she was taking care of her kids, she didn't take welfare and didn't feel comfortable accepting help, yet family and church are doing just that. So not only is she psycho, she's a liar.
  9. Just a forewarning: Cheating on the pre-op is one thing. If you take nothing else away from this thread, take this: Do EXACTLY as your doctor instructs you post-op. NO cheating, NO cheeseburgers, NO solids before he says so. What you do post-op will very likely affect you in the future as far as band slippage and other issues. Do NOT listen to others who ply you with, "I did it so you can too." Do what your doctor says, no matter what!! Otherwise, if you feel you can't, then back out now. The damage you can do to yourself if you cheat post-op can cause irreparable harm.
  10. WOOT! Happy Birthday! You, mah dear, are like a fine wine -- you get bettah with age.
  11. Nah, just orcs and other bad stuff.
  12. It's really going up. I thought earlier today it was about 120-something. And I too heard about the suspected arson. I hope, if it's true, they throw the book at whoever did it.
  13. No wine, just diet green tea with ginseng now. In all honesty, the mob thing could have been operator error on my part. I haven't been on FB too much simply because to navigate it almost takes a picture map and pin chart. I'm somewhat savvy on most computer things, but FB, I think, is harder for me simply because of the overload of all the stuff.
  14. Yes I did! I accepted all the ones I had, ah swears it! I did it last weekend and accepted about 4-5 of them, including yours -- BOTH of yours... lol *pout*
  15. Bummer... I thought it was pretty good if I do say so mahself.
  16. LOL, and so you did! Hope it helps. Hell, I may need to remember it one day too.
  17. You're not the only one, trust me. I prefer WoW where I can kill stuff.
  18. I'm off the hook, right? I joined.
  19. No, a little cheating is not probably okay. There is a reason for the rules. Also, never forget a little cheating here and a little cheating there is what got us to this point. The two-week pre-op diet is only the beginning. It's not as if your life will miraculously change the day of your surgery. You may as well start to learn now how to adhere to a regimen that is required by your doctor if you want to succeed. If not, then keep doing what we've always been doing.
  20. Mine gave me two or three sheets of pictures with about four pictures each sheet during the operation. I also got to see my hiatal hernia before and after he fixed it. It's way cool. If I still had my gall bladder, they say that looks really neat -- robin's egg blue.
  21. I guess I'm naive or lacking cognitive reasoning in this area, but I just don't get how some people are wired. Somebody makes the choice to have an affair -- not even a one-night stand, or several one-night stands, but an affair, a relationship -- and then can't understand why somebody else can't forgive and forget. The victim had no choice or say in the matter, the kids sure don't have a say, but the other person makes a conscious choice to do such a thing and expects what? That things will be better? Go back to normal? Be forgotten?? When you make a choice to pull down your pants and have sexual relations with another, and worse yet, to carry on this affair/relationship, you have made your choice. I'm not saying he totally falls into this category, but it seems to be the way it goes a lot. I wanted to say to run like hell when you were going to work it out, but it's not my life, and all I could do was support whatever you felt was best. And now I support you moving on without him.
  22. He's in denial and simply thinking that you are upset and will get over it if he "plays nice." Definitely make sure that is what is discussed in counseling. Maybe that will help it sink in.
  23. I do 99 percent of the stuff on my own. I'm used to regular PC games where you play by yourself, so I do most stuff myself on this game. It's rare that I meet up with others and do raids or anything else. When a quest comes up that calls for a group, I usually don't even accept them. That way I'm "beholden to none."
  24. Then I guess you have the answers. Good luck.
  25. Just remember that ANY weight lost during the first 6 weeks or so after surgery is bonus weight lost since this is a time of healing where no weight loss is expected. So technically you're ahead of the game.
