  1. You should find out how big your band is and how much is in it. Every time I have a fill, they draw out what is in there and then add from there. It always seems a little less than what should be in the band. Everytime I have had a fill, I know it....My first, I couldn't eat much at all, not even too much liquid for a few days, then it got better after a week. My second fill, was only 1.5 cc, which gave me a total of 3.5 cc, and I went for 8 days, lost 13 lbs. It wasn't good. I went back and had some taken out. They took out 1 cc. After I got home from vacation (we went on a cruise) I went back and I am now at 3.25 cc. It is very frustrating. I have been 10 since this fill, and I am just today, where I can eat a little something without that feeling of throwing up. Hang in there, everyone is different. It makes mine even harder, because I am 2 1/2 hours from my Dr...... Hope this helps.... Sue
  2. Kind of a crazy reply, but how do I add my ticker counter to the bottom of my page. Thank Sue
  3. I am not sure if this help, but my Doctor says that when you reach a certain amount of weight loss, (100lbc +or -), you will loose a certain amount of hair. She says it will come back. I am not sure how much you have lost. But this is something to think about.
  4. Banded on June 23, 2008 Have lost 69.5 lbs. Have 3.25 cc in band at present time
  5. I would wait a couple of weeks. I think that you need to eat smaller portions, and maybe eat a little something every 2 -3 hours. When I had a fill for the first time, I had to really slow down. It brought me back to the first few days after surgery.
  6. Yes, It does help. Once you go through it, you will not want to eat and it will not let you eat more than you should. It does take time. I had mine put on June 23rd. I go for a fill on Oct 3rd. Be patience...:tt1:
