  1. hey everyone! i love reading about everyone’s journey and i hope youre all feeling well today ? it’s been a month since my surgery (july 3) already! i can’t believe it’s gone by so fast. no complaints thankfully everything has been going as smoothly as possible. noticing a little stall now but i’m not mad about it it’s all part of the process. one huge victory for me is i’m finally done with the blood thinner shots !! lol

  4. i honestly feel the exact same way you do. i’ve lost 13 lbs so far and feel stuck the past couple days i’m in the same boat you’re not alone. we’ll get through it and lose more ! just got to trust the process ?

  13. i know everyone’s experience may be different but my surgeon said to start the diet they have (liquid- purée-soft foods) for a reason to make sure your stomach can get used to working and digesting food progressively. you still drink protein shakes while doing this

  15. mine was 14 too just push through as best as you can and remember before you know it it’ll be behind you and you’ll be on your way to your new future! it feels light years away at this point lol (im now a week out from surgery)

  20. that was me! i didn’t even have nerves the day of like i thought i would. i think i was just so ready to start this thing lol
  21. i guess not until my incisions are fully healed? not sure how long that takes. i’m doing okay trying to keep down 2 protein shakes and then other liquids in between. monday i start purée I’m looking forward to that !
