Im almost a year in from my surgery and lost 100 pounds almost.

Anyone experience feeling cold all the time? I’ve never had this issue before surgery. My surgeon says my vitals are normal.

It’s 75 outside and I’m freezing in my apartment.

I am wearing socks at home. I never used to wear socks to sleep but it’s a must now. I can’t seem to keep warm.

Doctor says it’s in normal range. I’m taking iron + b12 supps and it hasn’t helped.

matt917 got a reaction from TippyDScale in 7 Months Post Op Normalities?
I went on vacation last month. Eating out was a struggle. I haven’t made my surgery public to a lot of my friends. I can never finish my entree. I usually order fish as the portion is a lot smaller. Eating protein first then the carbs last. I still feel very bad for throwing away half my plate. Skip the appetizers lol.

I’ve had mine on May 3rd. Best decision ever. I’ve been at my lowest weight in almost 10 years. Around the 5 month mark, Ive plateau. I’m still dropping some weight but a lot slower than I want. Hopefully the next 5 months, I’ll reach my goal weight.

I’m wondering how everyone is tracking at their 6 month mark.

I had my surgery May 3rd this year.

My starting weight before pre surgery diet was 309. I’m at 233 as of today and hopefully I’ll get to 225 by 11/3

I was hoping to reach 200 by the end of the year but I don’t think it’s possible.

    My goal weight is 160.

I am 7 weeks post opt and have most restrictions removed with the exception of bread/ rice / beef/ pork.

I’m worried about stretching my stomach. Around how much lean protein are you having per meal along with carb/veg?

Anyone get weight loss stalls at this stage? I notice the scale has barely moved the last 10 days.

Thanks for explaining. I’ll try not to take ibu. Hopefully it gets better in the next 2 weeks. I bought a compression tank and it seems to minimize the pain when walking or getting up.

I had the surgery 2 weeks ago. The first week was the hardest. After that it got tolerable, and by the 2 week mark I only have tenderness at the incision sites. Last week I started being able to walk about a quarter mile comfortably, so I am getting there. Good luck!

I can have up to 1000 calories a day. Depending on the shake brand, it’s 5 or 6 shakes a day. I’m currently drink the premier protein shakes that are 160 calories a serving. 30 calories from snacks which can be sugar free jello or low sodium chicken broth. I’m also allowed 2 cups of non starchy veggies with 2 tbsp of fat free dressing or vinegar. Been fortunate that I’m at least allowed to eat some solid food versus full liquids

I’m 6 days into my 14 day liquid diet. The first 3 days were bad. It’s definitely gotten easier.

I been averaging 5 premier shakes and try to drink at least 3-4 cups of water along with 2 cups of chicken broth.

I’m having a hard time sleeping because all this liquid is making me use the restroom every 2hrs.

I tried to finish shakes + dinner by 9-10p and still wake up from my exploding bladder.
