cjones75 reacted to Mmartin556 in Anyone having surgery on 4/18I had my surgery today and everything went well. I’m staying overnight and minimal pain. Looking forward to feeling 100% as it’s real hard to shake the lethargy from the anaesthesia.

cjones75 reacted to trishrivs in Anyone having surgery on 4/18My surgery is on 4/20, diet of mostly shakes with two cups of non-starchy vegetables daily. I hate the taste of the shakes, so have probably only been able to drink 1.5 - 2 each day. Can't get enough of the vegetables, so may be going over the two cups a bit. This is hard.

I wish you all the best on your journeys! I am an operating room nurse, and I've seen many of these surgeries. Thinking about surgery and doing your part to help is the best advice. Your surgeon and your team want the best outcome for your success, and you are a part of that team as well!
